This week's Source to Cycle comes from André Hommen.  Original from Nettetal in Germany, André was inspired by the radio shows broadcasting over the local airwaves, opening up his ears to the house music sound, and influencing his move behind the turntables to hone his craft.

André is widely known as one of the crew at Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity label,  helping the develop the careers of Ferrer, Argy, Martinez Brothers, and finding the time to also develop his own production style and DJ career.  Releases on Objektivity and Plastic City have wetted his appetite to further his production career, so we look forward to some future music from him.

Starting with a stirring 60s Boogaloo hip-twist of "Muévelo Papi" from the mighty Club Des Belugas, followed by Geordie mate Smoove from Newcastle who turns “No Words” into a fusion of Jazz house and Breakbeat while Opolopo pulls "Dizzy's Bounce" deeeep into jazzy House. Both producer teams  Maestro&Vezzola and Chinchin's Zouzoulectric/Gardener Of Delight are giving a Special Disco-Latin-House-Funk treatment each to their individual interpretation of "Tropicana Flight" while Suonho from Italy rejams in his very own soulful mood and brings a more modern-soul-disco-funk for "No Words" while "Muévelo Papi" amps up the funk quotient with a touch of jazz and a latin twist.
