I’ve been away for the past 4 weeks, reconnecting with my roots in Tangier, Morocco. This trip has been a huge source of inspiration for me. I’m feeling fully recharged, both mentally and physically and I’ve been working on some new music during my time there.

Due to close family contacts to American soldiers stationed in Germany, he developed a close connection to 90’s R&B and Hip Hop at a very young age. Later he has gotten to know and fell in love with the different facets of Funk, Soul and 60’s/70’s Jazz from his father in law and teacher DJ Soulbrother. Today he combines these elements in edits and sets to his own new and unique sound. He uses Latin American and African beats, as well as the gems of the SoundCloud generation.

This group is a regular in one of Japan’s largest club events in ageHa (approx. 6,000 people a night) as well as other major clubs. For more than 10 years, Tokyo Pose Posse has always played the latest music, providing tunes for the fashion and music scene in a genreless manner.

In recent years, we have expanded our relationships with overseas artists through collaborations on songs and clothing. Currently, we actively provide venues for guest DJs in the Asia-Pacific region and worldwide.
