Temple, out September 16th on Gravitas Recordings, is a perfect blend of west coast bass and ethereal melodies truly capturing the full @Orenda style.  He has released amazing music for years now on Gravitas and other labels, and this recent work is his highest quality with extreme attention to detail and sound design.  It still has the Orenda world-music, ethereal vibe, but with more festival and club-ready tracks. Orenda describes it as “A journey style EP arranged from highest to lowest energy. Focusing on a fusion of ethnic, world music rhythms and instruments, blended with dark West-Coast bass music.”

The opening track “Temple” brings this high energy to the forefront with tribal bass and captivating percussion building into a heavy drop of clean wubs and growls that pull the listener into a trance.  “Unbound” dives into beautiful background vocal chops and string plucks, again building into heavier bass and growls but not losing the original ethnic soundscape created.  “Eclipse” brings down the energy in a journey through world vocals and organic textures, dropping with deep bass and enchanting synth stabs that brings a nostalgic feel and perfect blend of his two energetic sides.  “Sanctum” builds further into this lower energy ethereal vibe while still incorporating smaller growls and unreal sound design from the previous tracks, another one that throws the listener into another world.  “Nightfall” closes the EP with perfect natural soundscapes and organic textures and foley to transport the listener into a jungle of sound, the whole track teases the heavier aspects and builds into one final drop that leaves us wanting more in a perfect way.

Coming up with another surprise from our magic box of treasures is ¨I (aya) care¨, a mystical gift from the mysterious lands of Eastern Europe, specifically Ukraine, that will make you dive into a Universe of spiritual reflection, sonic dreams and beautiful organic grooves.

A work full of deep enigmatic voices from the profound world of the Universal soul, as the EP conception combines musical and spiritual ideas from South America and Eastern Europe, this supported by the unique voice of Maryna Rusia Shukiurava aka Shuma and the production talent of Ok Selekta, presenting here his first EP work ever showing an incredible talent for artistic conception and execution of a wonderful journey.

Apart from this, the EP also showcases the contributions of four other Ukrainian remixers, each adding their distinctive flair while remaining aligned with the album's enchanting journey. This collective effort creates a wholesome experience of medicinal tunes, catering not only to the dance floor but also to the soul.

The EP in the words of the artist: ¨"It's about the importance of caring and being ready to accept care, as I do care about my soul, I do care about other people, I do care about nature and at the same time I care about ¨Pachamama (mother nature)¨ and so Mother Nature is caring about us, it can: heal, give wisdom and inspiration. Finally I would say: "Be empathetic and trust life – that is the message I received from the Ayahuasca, Medicine of Pachamama and I'd like to share it further with my music". ¨

I had the great privilege and joy to be invited by Maaje @maaje_music to play for the 4th chapter of Havre dê Perche 2023 @perchepolis-label !

Picture a gorgeous farm in the french countryside.
And in this farm, a cosy little house with a river flowing nearby.
And in this house, a chill room with mattresses all around the dancefloor, and a chimney where the fire is crackling softly.
The house is called la Chouette (the Owl) and it was one of the sweetest nest I had the pleasure to play into.

This was such a beautiful and powerful evening at one of my favourite venues ever... Paradiso, in Ubud. 🔥

I'm so grateful to LUSH for encouraging us artists to be fully authentic in our expression. I feel like I can truly tap into my most relentless joy and creativity in this space. 🙌🏻

I decided to give myself a challenge and push one of my edges, and improvise the entire set in the moment. 🥰

I often plan my sets in advance, but lately I've been playing with more free-styling, and it's been incredibly expansive and rewarding. Of course it's a little more stressful, and requires more focus, but it's also more intimate and connected, and can make for some unexpected and magical moments! ✨

I'm really happy with how this set turned out, and I'm SO happy with the entire vibe of the evening and all of the incredible, yummy dancers that showed up! 💃

Thank you to everyone who's ever supported this dream of mine in any way. I love you all so much.

As a child, it was my dream to become a ranger in a national park. Nowadays, the magic and mystery of the forest inspire me a lot in my music. 

This set was prepared for an event called ‘The Foresters’ in Aderet, the forest close by Jeruzalem. The event got canceled due to weather circumstances, so I played the set two weeks later during sunrise at the Happy 2b Happy stage at Burnerot in the Yeruhum Desert (Israel).

Nature doesn't need people, people need nature.

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes @bodaishin. The guy from Spain created an original called "Who Saves One Life Saves The Whole World".

Bodaishin: The inspiration for this tracks cames from the movie called "Schindler List". In that moment i was living in Mallorca, i had my studio there. So, after watched this movie i had a lot of mixed feelings. And i needed to get them out from my mind in some way, and the best way for me to get out my feelings is making music. So i took my laptop, my keyboard and started to recording. I think this is not any song, for me is special because the message behind this movie and this track is strong. Because of this, i want to give to the people this gift from me, and i hope they could feel something when they listen this song. Now im working in the last song for my next EP, which will be released very soon in Flug Lab, an argentinian Deep House label which is growing up very fast.

I didn’t realize when I was inspired to make the invitation/intention of this mix “The Space Between”, what was to unfold over the days and weeks that have followed.

 I didn’t know, at least not consciously, the world was about to go on quarantine and we were all about to become adept in the practice of “social distancing”.

I trust that there is something bigger than me guiding me, sourcing me…so I don’t find the intention "The Space Between" to be a coincidence. It just humbles and awes me even more to the creative…and destructive…forces at hand.

This mix's invitation- to dance in the space between- was initially alluding to this seasonal stillpoint where we all stand. 
The Equinox.  
No longer winter, not quite spring.  
That moment between death and rebirth. 
Destruction and creation. 
Exhale, inhale.

It feels much more literal to me now, given the current circumstances. We are collectively taking more physical space for ourselves than ever before.

 In times in my life where I have chosen to take space - not to withdrawal and avoid, but simply to create some distance - from the doing, the identities, the relating, the world out there…one thing I’ve learned in these times is that space provides a much needed expansion of perspective.

It’s like Life is saying right now, “You could all use a fresh perspective.”

Space forces us to sit in uncertainty, and uncertainty is mmmm well, scary. The mind wants to know and it wants to know now.

So it also asks of us to find the strength, solidarity, and fortitude within, to be okay with not knowing and to be okay with the aloneness innate to the human experience of separation. 
How we navigate this is a testament to our character.

How do you dance in the space between?

Yes it is terrifying. It's the hardest dance I've ever danced. But if I can just allow that fear to be felt, just be with it and do nothing...just let go...again and again....that is where I discover a stillness eternally sweet. The terror dissipates, the separation dissolves. The dance of duality lends way to the dance of unity.

For me, navigating the space between with humility and surrender feels empowering. 
And when I am empowered, I am also on fire…with Love.

And this world sure could use a bit more of that. Love Love Love.

I invite you to dance with us tonight, to find the perspective that this space between is asking of you. 
To dance in, and to be danced by, the uncertainty. 
To navigate it with grace and gentility.  Surrender and humility.
To feel your inner reservoirs of empowerment. 
And to let it light the fire of Love in your heart, and in your dance.
