“Anticipating the birth of our daughter and becoming a dad I sat and wondered about her arrival and how life is now, what she will be up to when she lands, the future, our journey and all of the amazing lessons and moments we will experience and grow from. Hearing our daughters heartbeat at a scan further inspired me to write this song, which has a special place in my own heart”

Occasionally, I like to share tracks from my early albums.  This is from my first, "Wake Of the Moon" (2001) (which, I have to admit, despite the lo-fi-ness of the recording and some "pitchiness" in the vocals, I don't think I've bettered).  This tune is a fav from that record and has recently been revived by my daughter's championing of it online in connection with her writing (long story).  I love the electric guitar and piano work in this by Matthew Sanborn and the gentle violin by Biff Moyer:
