When I See You

David Morales and Janice Robinson return with There Must Be Love 2025, a fresh take on their much-loved 2015 collaboration. 

Originally released on Def Mix, the track has grown into a modern house classic, pairing Morales’ unmistakable production touch with Robinson’s soaring vocal. Ten years later, the duo revisit the song for Morales’ own DIRIDIM Records, updating it with a crisp, contemporary sound that keeps its spirit intact.

Morales, a Grammy-winning New Yorker whose career spans decades and includes remixes for Mariah Carey, U2, and countless others, alongside an unparalleled contribution to the global house scene,  brings the weight of his legacy to this new version while staying rooted in the present. Robinson, arguably best known for voicing Livin’ Joy’s 90s anthem Dreamer and writing for stars such as Whitney Houston, remains a powerhouse, her voice carrying both emotional depth and club-ready impact.

The 2025 package also features a new remix from Kieloh, the new project founded by Roberto Lopez and Antony Fennel. Blending Afro House rhythms with the hypnotic textures of Melodic Techno, Kieloh debuted with El Agua Corrió on Spinnin’ Records in 2025, created in collaboration with AfroSalto (Gregor Salto & Afrojack), Orito Cantora, and La Chalupa. 

With further releases on Armada and support from artists like Kasango, Emanuele Esposito, Bob Sinclar, and Gregor Salto, their reimagining of There Must Be Love marks a pivotal moment, bridging the classic New York house sound with Europe’s evolving melodic movement.

Released on DIRIDIM, There Must Be Love 2025 is both a celebration of the track’s enduring place in house music and a chance for new audiences to discover its message and power.

Tom Lysar creates electronic music with an emotional core — shaped by atmosphere, structure, and instinct. His compositions don’t follow fixed genres but emerge from moments, moods, and inner imagery.

Much of his music is rooted in an extensive archive: early studio sessions, unfinished sketches, and custom loops originally crafted for sample packs, background cues, and small creative projects such as indie games and online content. In 2025 he began reshaping this material, refining old fragments into finished works and aligning them with his present sound. The result is a continuous flow of releases that feel both timeless and immediate — carrying the depth of past explorations into the present.

In his work, sound, memory, and motion merge into a fluid musical expression. Each track becomes an invitation: to drift, to remember, or simply to feel.

This is music that doesn’t confine — it opens space. Between light and shadow, closeness and distance.
