Raise the Youth were formed in 2011 by Anthony Brady (rhythm guitar and vocals) and Jordan Platt (lead guitar and backup vocals) who introduced Lorcan Wardle (Drums) and Vincent Riozzi (Bass) respectively. After a few successful gigs around Liverpool such as the O2 Academy and East Village Arts Club, in August 2012 they recorded their first demo at Crash Studios and named after a mutual favorite song on the demo 'Looking up'. In June/July 2013 they headed to Parr Street Studios and with the help of Sound Engineer Richie, they recorded their second demo ‘If You Act Like That’ to be released in August 2013.
