Russell's DJing and Producing career has gone from strength to strength, he's vast experience as a DJ has taken him from being a resident at the laid to rest Turnmills for events such as The Gallery and many more. He has had the privilege to be last DJ standing at the closing of The Cross, London as one of the last DJ's to ever play at the massive institution. You would also find Russell playing in the main room at EGG every Friday alongside producers Kosheen. As well as playing all over London Russ has also DJ'd for KLIK & Mass - 2 hugely successful brands in the southeast of England & Warehouse, London also Sankeys in Ibiza 2013. And been involved as a guest DJ for many underground parties across the UK and overseas, and also hosted his events NEON & SEEK.

He has had the pleasure of playing alongside the likes of - Tom Demac, Glimpse, Clive Henry, Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Laura Jones, Sam Russo, Anthea, Ben Pearce, Oliver $, Nikola Gala, Geddes. Also he has supported the following artists at other independent events such as Pete Tong, Eats Everything, Phil Kieran, Matt Tolfrey, DJ Hell, Reboot, Stephan Bodzin, Kosheen, Format B and most recently for the DJ Mag party alongside Art Department.

He also has a catalogue of releases on veryveryverywrongindeed, Stripped Digital, Sounds of Krafted 

Equipped with his promising production skills, a huge library of soon-to-be released tracks, and with his fantastic DJing ability which never fails to ignite a crowd, it is fair to say we can expect big things from Russell in the coming year

Hailing from provincial Italy, world class DJ & producer Benny Benassi is a name needing little introduction but always deserving of wide admiration and acclaim.  Indulging in a career spanning fifteen plus years, Benassi is renown as a humble, authentic and charming character who has grown from club DJ to festival king to multi-million selling record producer taking success in his stride. Trademarking his unique infusion of house and electro with his global smash “Satisfaction” Benny has continued to create music which is a clear evolution of this signature sound but never deviating too far. 

There is no better place to start delving into the rich history of the Benassi career than with his international blockbuster, “Satisfaction” and its game-changing music video became his launch pad into stardom. Created with his cousin and producer, Alle Benassi, and inspired by the car horns outside an open street facing window, this single catapulted into the charts with a #1 in France, #2 in the UK and Germany. Followed by his debut album Hypnotica, which reached top 20 across nearly all parts of Europe within the first month of release. 

The next few years for Benny were a culmination of successes, whether it be the major festivals he went on the play (Coachella, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland to name a few) or his next artist album, Rock N Rave in 2008. The same year he won a Grammy Award for his ground breaking remix of Public Enemy “Bring The Noise” further catapulting the Benassi name into stardom. 

In 2011, Benny teamed up with a star-studded album cast for his album Electroman which featured T-Pain, Kelis, Jean-Baptsiste and Apl.de.ap amongst others and most famously Gary Go with his chart-topping single “Cinema”.  The Skrillex remix of “Cinema” not only went Gold in the US and platinum in Australia and Canada but won the Benassi’s another Grammy whilst holding firm in the iTunes top 10 dance chart for over 6 months. 

Still on this exceptional career high, Benny Benassi combined talents with Chris Brown to create one of the biggest cross-over dance records of its time with “Beautiful People”. The following years have been a measure of incredible world tours and releases, most notably his record “Dance The Pain Away” with John Legend, which premiered live on stage at Coachella with John himself. 

2016 saw Benny released his first album in five years Danceaholic, an unexpected, stunning cocktail of already released tracks, two unreleased reworks of older singles and brand new songs, led by the hit summer anthem “Paradise”, once again with Chris Brown. “Paradise” stayed in the Top 50 UK charts for 10 weeks and boasts more than 65 million video views and close to 47 million Spotify streams. 

In recent years, Benny's main releases include “Everybody Needs A Kiss” featured US duo Sofi Tukker racking up over 10 millions streams online and was featured as the sound of gay pride for Musica.ly, "Lonely Nights" featuring Lil Yachty, interspersed with two great house-oriented tracks, "Inside" with Chris Nasty, performing well in clubs and on streaming platforms and "Everybody Hates Monday Mornings" with his own production outfit, BB Team, and featuring the eccentric and charismatic YouTuber, Canguro English.

Beyond his own productions he brought his sound to a wider musical audience with a flurry of high-profile remixes with the likes of Bob Marley & The Wailers, Giorgio Moroder, Madonna, Sean Paul and the Rolling Stones, to name but a few; whilst maintaining a weekly radio show on the US heavy-weight iHeart Radio broadcasting to a staggering quarter of a billion listeners monthly.

One of the most exciting bass music acts to emerge in recent times, DeadExit are respected house DJ Sammy Porter and renowned selector, producer and broadcaster Crissy Criss. Set for even bigger things in 2015, the duo have already made a name for themselves with edgy remixes and unique original productions setting the bass music scene alight.

First set up as a bass music project for Crissy Criss to keep separate from his Drum and Bass production, DeadExit has flourished as a fresh, upcoming act in its own right. Joining forces with House minded Sammy Porter, DeadExit has quickly made the bass music scene take notice, with salvo after salvo of reworkings and original productions suddenly dominating dance floors and airwaves alike.

An unstoppable creative force, DeadExit are some of the busiest producers around, constantly releasing unofficial remixes for their favourite tracks. Reworking anything from Calvin Harris to Rudimental, or Chase and Status to Matrix & Futurebound, DeadExit have released a mass of free downloads, featuring their own unique spin.

What’s more, DeadExit’s unofficial remixes have led to official remix work from some of bass musics most important figures. With a discography including official remixes for the likes of Cookie Monsta, Dems and grime legend DDoubleE, DeadExit have been called on from some of the very best acts in the bass music scene. Elsewhere, the duo have given tunes from other genres the Dubstep treatment, putting their spin on tracks such as Drumsound & Bassline Smith’s ‘Atmosphere’ on NewState Recordings.

Not just confined to remixes, DeadExit’s original productions have also seen them release on a range of prestigious imprints, including Doctor P and Flux Pavillion’s Circus Recordings. First featured on the imprint’s annual album ‘Grand Central’ in 2014 with 'Love Me ft Dems', DeadExit have also earned original releases of their own on.

Their first solo release with Circus Records, 'Soundboy Killer' began a new chapter of the duo’s rise. The highly anticipated follow up to the track, ‘Snake', was heavily supported by Benga - and even dropped by Funtcase in front of 14,000 Belgian ravers. After two months of radio and rave play, ‘Snake' soon found its way on to the legendary Datsik’s label FirePower in July 2014, cracking the Beatport Dubstep Track Top100.

Thanks to an impressive amount of tunes in such as short space of time, DeadExit have regularly earned radio play and support from the likes of Skream & Benga, Target, Wideboys and Eddy Temple Morris. The duo were also a regular favourite of MistaJam’s prestigious Radio 1 and 1Xtra shows, regularly supplying mixes including the ‘Dubstep Download’ and 'Daily Dose of Dubstep' Mix

My love for music made want to become a DJ so I taught myself to Mix. I started out playing R&B, Pop and Dancehall and played in many clubs and bars across Essex. I established my self as a DJ and in my prime I hosted my own event (Pretty Young Things) at Mansion Night Club in Southend. Now I've found a new love, HOUSE MUSIC, I'm concentrating on that at the moment and I've had honour of playing alongside some of Southend's Top DJ's.
