We proudly present the release of “Places We Know”, a bold new two-track EP from Argentinian-born, Portugal-based producer Ignacio Arfeli.
With Places We Know, Arfeli pushes deeper into his sonic identity — embracing emotion, experimentation, and tension in equal measure. Across two carefully crafted tracks, the EP captures a duality between introspective melody and unrelenting club energy.
Speaking on the EP, Arfeli shares:
“Places We Know is a special EP for me. It’s one where I allowed myself complete creative freedom and honesty. The title track reflects my deep connection to melodic arpeggios while maintaining the dark, raw energy that defines my sound — driven by those mechanical, almost robotic vocals.”
While the title track leans into a cinematic atmosphere anchored by signature techno textures, “Stop” ventures into more experimental territory:
“Stop stands out as one of the experimental pieces I’ve produced. It’s an honest snapshot of what I was feeling in the studio at that moment. The track experiments with a fusion of techno and mid-tempo, creating an unexpected blend that challenges genre boundaries. It’s a polarizing piece — you’ll either connect with it instantly or not at all. There’s no middle ground, and that’s exactly how I wanted it.”

Tom Nox is a techno producer and DJ based in Strasbourg, France. He first fell in love with electronic music in the late '90s, captivated by the raw, untamed energy of underground techno. At just 16, he began exploring vinyl mixing and music production, gradually crafting a sound that is uniquely his own.

His music is defined by a fusion of deep rhythms and acid-tinged tones, drawing on a wide range of influences. Tom Nox specializes in creating hypnotic and immersive soundscapes, where stripped-back rhythms make way for ethereal, melodic textures.

He’s had the privilege of performing alongside global techno legends like Thomas Schumacher and Sterling Moss. Regularly appearing across France, he’s now preparing for upcoming performances in Germany and Switzerland.

In summer 2024, his track "Into The Unknown" caught attention for its power and nostalgic, old-school vibe. His latest release, "Polaris," featured on Ultratech’s Symposium 1 compilation, follows in the same footsteps. Recently released on Dutch label Flatlife Records, his latest EP "Skepsis" continues to push his ever-evolving sound, blending bold creativity with a timeless, stellar touch.
