I'm not a fan of these holidays. 
So it was kind of an accident to come across this poem by Henry Wadsworth LONGFELLOW (1807 - 1882) on the Internet Archive (public domain). It's read, I believe, by Annie Coleman Rothenberg.
This inspired me to do a deconstruction of the typical christmas jingle standard. It's kind of shoegazish, I think, and I'm not sure how or why this ended up sounding how it is. 
I guess it's Christmas music by a person who's not big on Christmas.

Intrumentation: Fender Telecaster and Jaguar guitars, Sire electric bass, transverse flute, framedrum, brass castanets, tambourine.
