I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve got a new song that I hope you will enjoy. “Sister Golden Hair” by the
great songwriters of the band America. They wrote so many classic songs and I chose this one, I felt as I could do a decent job of it. Right away I thought of asking my friend Greg Hurley to do the slide guitar part on this. I’ve been a big fan of his musical and songwriting abilities for a long time and he was kind enough to say yes! I encourage you to stop by his page and listen to some great music of his. This is my first track featuring mandolin and I wanted it to be special so I asked Lee Lucas if he would lend his talent to this track. I've been following and admiring Lee for several years and he made it special! Thank-you my friend, it's been a blast.
Lee is featured singing on the second verse and on other various parts mixed to the right speaker. He also crafted a wonderful synth lead that comes before the lead guitar break and at the end of the song doubling the guitar. Lee also came up with some cool art work.

Today I upload our rendition of Help! in our ongoing tribute to the brilliant songwriting talents of The Beatles. John Lennon is the reason I play and write music, I saw The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan show all those years ago and I couldn’t take my eyes off of John. I was very young and he turned on that music switch in my heart and mind which became hardwired.
 He was taken away from us way to soon on December 8, 1980. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the sad news. I thought the music died that day, but I was wrong. He gave the music to anyone on this planet that would here it and it lives in us and will live in generations to come. 
So thank-you Mr. Lennon and you passed the audition  

   Hello everyone, Hedd and I were looking for a Boston song to cover and we discussed several, so many great songs to choose from. We realistically had to filer the decision through our own limitations. There were several we wanted to try, but reality set in and “A Man I’ll Never Be” released in 1978 on the Don’t Look Back album seemed possible.
  Back in the day playing the clubs, one rig I used incorporated a Rockman sustainer and chorus. I went digging through my equipment graveyard and found it. The tone wasn’t as I remembered it so I labored over the tone for months till I got what you here on this recording. Hedd had his own concerns covering Brad Delp, but he figured it out. I’m proud of the effort he put in to pull it off-Yey Hedd. 
   Tom Scholz is a genius musician and songwriter so this is our tribute to Tom and Brad. This song is a slowburning power ballad and we hope you enjoy our version of it.

It’s time for another Rush cover. We picked Tom Sawyer one of their most popular songs to try. I use to “know” it back in the day or I thought I did---wrong. I was on YouTube one day and ran across this song with only Neil’s part in good quality and thought I would use it. In some small way it’s like playing with The Professor, living a dream so to speak. So I got busy, real busy learning Alex’s and Geddy’s parts------wow, that was a task. I got Hedd involved and we got it together over the last 2 weeks.

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and safe.

that’s a fitting end to 2020! The year of Covid, conspiracy theories, division, death and
a time where lying is the norm. I can’t wait to flush this year down the toilet. 
There is hope for 2021 with a vaccine on the horizon and some new leadership.
Hedd and I started working on this track in 2018. It’s based off of one of Sting’s
live performances of Message In A Bottle made famous by The Police. It was a blast

Message In A Bottle

On a very sad note, Hedd (Randy Hedrick) my dear friend since we were kids,  song writing partner and great vocalist past away February 10,2021. Just by chance I asked Randy five years ago if he would like to work on a song  together. I remembered hearing him sing a number of years ago and thought  he was pretty good. Ended up, he blew me away. Our first song was Ashes to Ashes 5 years ago. Fast-forward to today its around 50 original songs and covers with around 15 others that he put vocals on, most of them I hope to finish and release at some point in time. Our last recording session was in
January -February of 2020 because of covid. I can’t begin to tell you of the hole he left in my life and all the people that really knew him. Knowing him all these years was a blessing. So I thought what a fitting song to do in his memory as the lyrics he wrote paying tribute to some of the people we both knew and grew-up with and why we play music.

Welcome all. This is a song is about what we do and why we do it.
We grew up in a neighborhood where many people played instruments and loved music. We all played in bands and met some colorful characters and wanted to remember them on this track. We hope you  dig it. Lets us know what you think and as always thanks for taking the time to listen.
