I'm very pleased to get to work with Karl's music yet again as we have collaborated on many projects together. When I first heard 'Haust' (Icelandic for Autumn), I was haunted by the richness of the bowed sound and the grinding industrial textures that spoke to me about the extreme environment in Iceland (https://soundcloud.com/sesar/haust). I asked Karl if I could contribute and a few weeks later I'm proud to present our 8th collaboration.

This is a song that started with Ian (IPG1 aka Lou) and his amazing vocal stem, of which I really identify with the lyrics. He has a plethora of vocal stems, so if you're interested in making a hip hop song, you did hit him up. He shared this psychiatrist l particular one with Tez (Llanpsych), who put a beat and guitar on it. Tez then sent it to me, and I added the bass and the synth. Then Tez put the solo part in there along with the effects. he mixed and produced it, and an excellent job he always does, too. This is my first foray into making hip hop, though I've listened to plenty. Hopefully there will be more to come.

The ancient metropolis of Istanbul probably derives its name from the Greek 'Stin Polis' ('in the city')(according to Sean Lusk's excellent book 'The Second Sight of Zachary Cloudesly)having previously been Constantinople the capital of the Byzantine Empire.
This incredible city spans the continents of Europe and Asia and reflects aspects of both in its culture and people.

“Fly With Me”. The idea started in 2017 and we kept refining it over time and kind of forgot about it. “Fly With Me” has several movements and is around 10 minutes long. The last several years I had the privilege of working with Randy Hedrick (Hedd RoXX) who lived two houses down from me growing up, who knew he could sing like that-I got lucky. Sadly Randy passed away in early 2021 unexpectedly. I was blessed to have him as a friend and a songwriting partner. So I hope you enjoy the Original and cover songs we attempted.
