'In A Rush To Slow Down' is a Jazz Fusion track inspired by the notion that rushing to acquire skills or knowledge invariably leads to not getting them at all. My teacher would say "practice, patience and perseverance". So then my musical journey here starts off at a frantic pace and morphs into a slower pace.

It's Hollow Inside

I came across this little improv I did a while back on Pat Howell's beautifully crafted home-built guitar, and had been keeping it in my back pocket for St. Patty's Day.  In this track I riff on some tunes I've played over the last several years but take on a new richness played on his guitar in drop D tuning.  If you're keeping score, the first is "Emerald Isle", the second is "A Splash of Joy" and last is "Celtic D'lite".  Enjoy with your favorite Irish brew:)

A year ago, I was making a bass song using "Traditional Instruments of Okinawa". But I had no idea what kind of sound to add to it. It took me a year of experience to make this songOnce I come up with a new tune, I can't get the hang of mixing.."I walk with experimental musicians." When I listen to music, I love deciphering the feelings and excitement of an artist's work.
 The music Ⅰ listen to every day is circulating. From "fun music" to "hard music" to my own music. Through this circulation, I get "my own musical freedom".
We are walking together with musicians who create the most popular works. These works remind us of the rich cultural values of music.
This time, I incorporated traditional Japanese music (Okinawa folk songs) into my work. I hope the people living in "Okinawa" don't get angry.

At home producer of electronic tracks in varying styles - I really enjoy experimenting with melding different genres. 
Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006. Retired now, so much more time for having fun with music :) It's just a hobby for me these days; Soundcloud is just a great place to share music & connect with people who have the same interests.
