Butor étoilé, Rainette verte , Rousserolle turdoïde, Blongios nain, Locustelle luscinioide, Rossignol philomèle, Coucou gris, Chouette hulotte, Phragmite des joncs etc... Mais aussi hélas sanglier dans la roselière ! 
Enregistrement en MS avec MKH 8060 + MKH 8030.

Close friends of mine live in northern Sweden and this dawn recording is from their garden. On the other side of the road, close to the lake, cows are grazing the meadows and a pair of Black-throated Loons call from time to time. Bees form the background sound as well.

Dawn chorus with cowbells and loons

Recorded this night thunderstorm with a Sennheiser double mid-side system.  The rain was pretty heavy over a grove of aspen, with some broader leafed vegetation on the forest floor.  The storm lasted for a few hours, I picked out this section to share for now.

The wind in this mountainous region is incredible, and it sweeps through so many layers of vegetation.  I enjoyed recording the gusts through foliage and grasses with the onset of the nights' insect chorus, it's a double mid-side recorded decoded to stereo.

I put these mics underneath some broad-leafed plants so you can hear the rain drops striking the leaves, as well as the wet ground and standing water in places below sometimes.  The birds, insects, amphibians, and ??? are active and becoming more vocal, this was the aftermath of a thunderstorm in Ecuador.
