J Man brings his passion for mixing all things deep, atmospheric and ambient drum and bass with this deep brooding roller of a mix. Peppered with cloud break"s of sunshine and space for MC Shureshock to lace his vocals throughout they titled it -

 "STORM"

Hailing from the early 90's ambient scene, J Man has always naturally delivered the deeper , more spacious and beautiful side of the drum and bass world in his mixes. 
MC Shureshock Hails to his roots and culture, paying tribute to the lyrics and insight's grown in deep self reflective times during the late 90's early 2000's in his signature Ragga toast style, spiritual, melodic with dynamic vocal range . 

This was the STORM - Forging his direction and career in these time's with the likes of Zephyr Timbre, Moon Bar Dj's, Greg Packer, Danny Rhodes, Kid Kenobi and countless guest appearances in the National and International rave / breaks and DnB scene which saw him MC for the likes of Goldie, Andy C, Stanton Warriors, El Hornet , Tee Bee just to name a few. 

The pair met in 1997 when J Man dropped a mix tape ( yep a cassette ) into Shureshock while he was watering at an inner city restaurant in Brisbane , it was his first exposure to the LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad duo and coincidentally Shureshock found many parallels to what he was already doing vocally over the DnB sounds with the likes of the Malaria / Area 51 crew and homies like Spinovator. They went on to record over a dozen mix tapes and get featured on JJJ's "Mix Up" during prime time Friday night Club mix.
