Pianist, musician, award-winning composer and producer, Paul Gladstone Reid is a British-Caribbean artist and creative who has composed music for orchestra, ballet, contemporary dance, theatre, film, art installations and large-scale events. 
 
His classical and orchestral works of have been performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie of Bremen, Janacek Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, London Sinfonietta and London Musici.

Performances of his work have been presented at prestigious venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, Wembley Arena, Sadler's Wells, Buckingham Palace, and broadcast on BBC, NBC, Channel 4 and numerous other radio and tv channels.

Works for Stage and Screen include collaborations with the Royal Ballet, Rambert, Mariinsky Ballet, Union Dance, and award-winning choreographers, Dane Hurst, Liam Scarlett, Gaby Agis, Stephen Galloway, Javier de Frutos, George Momboye, Ernst Meisner, Ben Love, Aubert Vanderlinden, and artistic directors and theatre directors, Danny Boyle, Michael Apted, Kwame Kwei-Armah, Femi Elufowoju Jr and Topher Campbell.

Scores for Film, Television, Documentary, Art Installations and Digital Arts include Isaac Julien's Franz Fanon: Black Skin, White Mask, Vagabondia, Paradise Omeros, Fantôme Créole, Fantôme Afrique, Cast No Shadow, and most recently, Lessons of the Hour - Frederick Douglass.

As a Producer and Musician he has credits for many projects with artists and events in the worlds of Hip Hop, Pop, Reggae, Soul, EDM, Gospel, Jazz, and World Music, including collaborations and productions for Sony, EMI, Warner Music, Universal Music and a host of independent artists and labels. 

As a Solo Pianist, he is endorsed by Steinway Piano as a Steinway Artist. He was the first-ever Composer-in-residence at Imperial College for his Moon Symphony project, collaborating with scientists on the research and development of a Cosmic Odyssey.

His work as an Artistic Director and Creative Advisor has included large-scale projects, festivals and brand partnerships, with credits including London 2012 Olympics and Cultural Olympiad, Intelligent Movement - Celebrating 40 Years of Hip Hop for Southbank Centre, Streetsummer Celebration of Street Culture for
Channel 4 and Google, African Stadium-Theatre Epic for the opening of the 3rd World Festival of Black Arts and Culture (for the African Union and Government of Senegal).

Special Projects include collaborations with Forevermark Diamonds, Rolex, Freud Communications, and many more, including roles as featured artist, creative director, artistic advisor, writer and producer.

He was Honoured by HM The Queen with an MBE for Services to Music and Communities in 2007.
