DJ Michael van der Knoop, a native of Amsterdam, discovered his passion for music at a young age. In 1983, he received his first pair of Technics turntables and a Dateq mixer, marking the beginning of his journey in the world of DJing. Throughout the 80s and early 90s, he became a familiar presence at local parties, renowned venues in Amsterdam, and even ventured overseas.

After a hiatus of 12 years, a close friend persuaded Michael to return to the DJ scene for a momentous occasion - his 40th birthday celebration.
