Hungarian independent record label with a wide musical spectrum ranging from obscure jazz to contemporary electronic music. Budabeats Records was founded by DJ Gandharva in 2008, now it's run by him and his long time DJ and record collector partner, Von Yodi.

The Good Foot is a funk and rare groove crew from Ljubljana. We try to carefully pick funkadelic beats from all over the world – from classic bboy breaks, soul mod bangers and yugo beats to afrobeat, modern (deep) funk… It’s a loose musical concept (no, we’re not funk purists!), but it’s also a fact that most of the music played was made in the seventies. Our most prominent project is a yugo mix series called Tetkine radosti. Get on the Good Foot!

Four Flies is a Rome-based record label and music publisher specializing in Italian golden age soundtracks & brand new music with a cinematic feel. The label is committed to digging up underrated scores and sounds – often ones that were never circulated outside the Italian film, radio or TV industry – and to unearthing master tapes tucked away and long forgotten in attics or basements. Like archaeologists of Italian library music, the Four Flies team go to great lengths to rescue from oblivion previously unreleased or lesser-known pieces by great film composers, making them available to listeners everywhere.

Budapest based downtempo-lounge-world beat-break-hip-hop-dub project of Nafta, Suefo and Parizs. 

Their songs have appeared on international compilations like Trip-Hop Classics by Kid Loco (Wagram), Hi-Fidelity Lounge (Guidance Records), Sunset Cafe (Chameleon Records), White Martini (Water Music), Monte La Rue's Deluxe (United), Electro Swing + Electro Swing Fever (Wagram), Jazz & Milk Breaks (Jazz&Milk), etc.. .... 

They’ve produced remixes for Erik Sumo (Pulver Records), [dunkelbunt] (Chat Chapeu), Flevans (Tru Thoughts), Eastenders (Poets Club), Orient Expressions (Poets Club), Dusty (Jazz&Milk), Mash & Munkee (Jack To Phono) and have recently worked on remixes for Jon Kennedy (Organik) and The Qualitons (Tramp).

Suefo produced two exclusive mp3 compilations for the UPC Chello internet company entitled Chellotronica vol. 1-2. These compilations contain tracks from Jon Kennedy, The Frank Popp Ensemble, Eastenders/!DelaDap, Deela, Montefiori Cocktail, Saint Privat, Captain Planet, Erik Sumo and a handful of new Hungarian talents from the freestyle scene. Suefo also produced a compilation/mix of Hungarian tracks. These form part of the extra content of the DVD film called Binji, which will be released soon through Chameleon Records. 
As Vono Box they also produced three CD compilations for Tilos Radio FM 90.3 entitled Tilos Maraton 2006, 2010 and 2011.

Nafta & Suefo.. have played with international artists like Ursula 1000, Montefiori Cocktail, Jon Kennedy, Senor Coconut, Nouvelle Vague, Fatima Spar und die Freedom Fries, Mau Mau, Gilles Peterson, Asian Dub Foundation, Saint Privat, Waldeck, DJ DRM, DJ Shepdog, Buscemi, Kulturni Program, Jack To Phono, M.O.C. Paoli, Tosca, DJ Shir Khan, Soundhog, TY, Louie Austen, Sophie Rimheden, Pan Sonic, Stephane Pompougnac, Ed Royal, Fat Camp, Ancient Astronauts, Howie B., Flevans, Dusty, Kid Loco, Rob Luis, etc... mostly in Budapest, but occasionally at the clubs of London, Beograd, Amsterdam, Vienna, Paris and Milano.

They run a weekly radio show at the legendary Tilos Radio FM 90.3 in Budapest on every Thursday afternoon (http://www.tilos.hu) and a webzine (http://www.manamana.hu) with record reviews and interviews. If you’re interested in producing a feature be sure to contact these guys!

Grown up and socialized in a small place in Lower Austria, Herbert Bachhofer, better known as Shantisan, got in touch with the Black Music Culture very early. Influenced by friends and family he irresistibly had to start collecting records. A wide selection of hip-hop and downbeat records eventually led him to collecting Soul, Afro, Jazz, Bossa Nova and especially Brazilian records. Having all those fine records at home he felt the drive to play them in front of a dancing audience.
After several Dj-sets, the foundation of his own musical platform was the next important step for Shantisan in order to get his own thing together: Salted Soul a non-purist Afro Grooves, Brazilian Rhythms, Downbeat, House and Drum n Bass mix was born as a label and as a kind of trade mark for his parties which are now taking place in several locations all over Austria, reaching Brazil, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Croatia.
Until now Shantisan has done several Remixes as well as Re-Edits, including the well known "Oba La Vem Ela"-Re-Rub, released on Jazz Rec. in 2005 or the musical production for the project "Deploy" which features Austrian bass player Jojo Lackner as well as singer Lilith who has worked in several collaborations, for example with Parov Stelar. Deploy was released on Salted Soul Records in 2007. Recent works were the collaboration 'S.O.S.' together with the Austrian producer/ Dj Stefan Obermaier which was released on Sol*Selectas in New York, a remix for Spanish Rhumba legend Chacho, a remix for the German producer/ Dj Quincy Jointz (Geriba), a remix for Timewarp Inc., a remix for Basement Freaks, a remix for the Austrian Nu-Funk Legend Ed Royal, a colaboration and remix for Brazil‘s Dj Soneca aka Trotter, Italy‘s Dj Farrapo, Danny Massure, Dogo Argentino, Roland Schwarz, jazz.K.lipa or another remix for Just Banks.
At the moment Shantisan is also working in a collaboration with Etage Noir's Roland Schwarz- an excerpt of this work can be heard on the excellent Jockey tunes E.P. 1 that was released on Galopp Records!
Shantisan's true musical passion is Brazilian music which is definitely shown in his work with Brazilian singer Micheline Cardoso. His track „Favela Funk“ feat. Micheline Cardoso & Stefan Obermaier was released on Innvison Records.
Shantisan‘s Brazilian Bossa & Drum'n'Bass fusion "Bring Back The Bossa Rock" was released in November 2008 on Resense Records. This record was number 1 seller at the Juno Broken Beat Charts in England for 2 weeks, his successor track "Aquela E Minha Menina" also reached 1 on Juno's Breakbeat charts on August 24, 2009 and is now on chart position 3 for the category BEST SELLING FUNK record 2009!!!!
At the moment Shantisan is doing a weekly radio show on Vienna's Superfly.fm, each Sunday from 20:00-21:00 C.E.T.!
