After her critically acclaimed full length album, Masquerade, the American indie/pop singer and songwriter, Lelia Broussard claimed her spot in the top two of Rolling Stone’s So You Want To Be A Rock And Roll Star contest. Hand-picked as one of the best unsigned artists in the nation by the editors of Rolling Stone and Atlantic Records, Lelia performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN on June 12th as well as LIVE on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on June 15th on 2011.

Currently living in New York, Lelia Broussard was originally born in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she was immersed in the rich and diverse music scene at a very young age. At the tender age of six, she was selected to perform Patsy Cline's "Crazy" in front of 15,000 people at the Cajun Dome. She hasn’t looked back since. She started writing her own songs, recording & independently releasing her own albums and began to amass an ever growing, devoted fan base. Over the course of her career, Broussard has collaborated with A-List producers including Rob Fusari (Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Destiny’s Child), Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson, Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, etc.) Espionage (Beyonce, Train, Chris Brown), Dave Trumfio (Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Built To Spill), David Hodges (Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson), Billy Mohler (Lifehouse, The Smashing Pumpkins) and most recently Chris Kuffner (Ingrid Michaelson, Guggenheim Grotto, Allison Weiss). Her songs have been featured on hit television shows such as MTV's “The Hills” , ABC Family's "The Lying Game", CBS' “Joan of Arcadia” and NBC’s “Men in Trees” as well as independent films. The past year has proved to be busy for the young singer/songwriter from Brooklyn. In the summer of 2012, Lelia was asked to be on NBC’s The Voice and went on to be picked by Grammy winning country artist, Blake Shelton. Without missing a beat, Lelia followed up the appearance with two successful European & U.S. tours. As she spent the remainder of the year writing and recording tons of unreleased music, Lelia is poised for a breakout year in 2013.
