Crysis 2 - Insertion Theme Rap Instrumental (Prod. by Tha Venom)

The Interview Series’ guest is the Australian RYANOSAURUS (Zenon / Another Psyde / Kinematic). After the talk, you can listen to a showcase of Jurassic sounds, “a monstrous mix of phat basslines, glitchy soundscapes, emotive melody and a sly playfulness.” Tune in on 21st March 2014 Friday 8pm CET on the Trance channel.

The Ryanosaurus sound is a monstrous mix of phat basslines, glitchy soundscapes, emotive melody and a sly playfulness. The project walks the line between minimal progressive and full on psychedelic trance, with frequent forays into foreign styles and influences. 

The project begun as a place to release the solo work of Ryan Whare from Australia. With a drive for interesting but crisp and powerful production, the psychedelic trance genre was an instant attraction. After years of cutting his teeth on the local Sydney scene and writing with Mr Bill for his duo project Electrocado, Ryan begun releasing Ryanosaurus on the free music distributor Ektoplazm, and quickly built up a following for his unique style. He has now had releases on labels around the globe such as; Zenon, Iboga, Kinematic, Glitchy Tonic, Another Psyde, UP, Maia and Hass Records.

Expect plenty more in the future!

Volume 5 of my "Real Rap" series features the late J Dilla, arguably one of the top Rap Producers ever (also a very talented MC). The mix begins with one of his Instrumentals mixed with a classic gansta rap song by Dr. Dre. and ends with a song from Dillas Group "Slum Village"-- you might recognize it as it was sampled by Chance the Rapper. Other songs in this mix come from Talib Kweli, Black Milk, and  Cyne. Hope everyone enjoys this! Check out my other "Real Rap" mixes!  More coming soon :)

Mega mega remix session  1 Hour 30 minutes in length.

I was going for a laid back vibe with this which is chilled out but builds up a bit, then chills out again to the end.

This session starts of slow and smooth (well...not now, i added the Knife "heartbeats" part, i had to leave it as it sounded hectic over the union "Roll with us" ) with a hectic collection of some of the coolest Hip hop instrumentals you’ve heard, classic Hip hop with a massive Jazz influence, it then builds up to a quicker beat, and stronger bassline, goes into a Urban dance vibe with some Kanye West, Keri Hilson, Naughty by Nature and a few others.

It then slows down back to a quick jazzy beat, and segways into a slow trancy type beat, and finishes of with probably something you might not hear too often, Mercedes Sosa doing a live performance of “Gracias a la Vida” with some very small Tupac samples thrown in.
It starts and finishes in the same way, you’ll have to listen to it to know what I mean.

I was trying to go with a "story" type element to the set, taking you through different vibes and feelings, and then ending in a subjective, maybe melancolic way to remind you that not everything in life is a constant party...but maybe depending on how you see it, still upbeat, we all die fighting).

This sounds so fucking sick!
