Warm Up Recordings is proud to present a new VA that distills the futuristic and hypnotic identity of the label. This release arrives in two formats: a special 12’’ vinyl EP featuring four tracks that were previously available only in digital form, with contributions from A4, David Reina, Mod21 and Vertical Spectrum. Each cut represents a different side of our sonic spectrum, from hi-tech jazz explorations to relentless space-driven tools and distorted grooves filled with sci-fi textures.

Alongside the vinyl, a ten-track digital selection revisits some of the most iconic moments in our catalogue. Temudo’s Spiritual Song sets the floor on fire, while Null Forms and Translate push the boundaries of abstraction and groove. Veterans like Dimi Angelis and Ruman bring hypnotic tension and timeless energy, before Conceptual’s Red Sun delivers a powerful closing statement. Together, these tracks offer a snapshot of the Warm Up sound: mental, futuristic and uncompromising techno crafted for the deepest dancefloors.

Moving smooth and soulful, ‘Just Like’ fuses the duo’s sparkling production skills with vocals from regular collaborator Sydney Bryce for a flowing, molten groove that melds lilting piano chords with gritty synthetic textures.

‘That’s Basically It’ puts the piano down and sees QZB return to their more typical sonic stomping ground, linking up with Amoss for a moody dancefloor-ready roller that keeps you guessing as it switches basslines each drop.

Stepping up to the SUNANDBASS Podcast and leading us into autumn is producer and DJ, Deekode. Originally from North West England but raised in the Midlands, Deekode has spent years shaping his style and sound, deeply influenced by SUNANDBASS Recordings.
