The two hour recording comes from Ivano Tetelepta's alias called Black D. who has released a record and has travelled with us before, in addition came to Moscow to play when we've just started throwing parties under the SKKB flag. Welcome to the new Pluie/Noir podcast series. 8 years after our debut we decided to press the reboot button and return to our roots. With a new format and back to a regular monthly schedule, Pluie/Noir Interscapes will feature audio collages, mixes, live interviews and live recordings from P/N artists, friends, and other collectives we admire.

Because less is more, instead of the usual triptych format, this series will feature one single A3-A1 visual interpretation of the music by a graphic artist. The artwork will be available to purchase in poster format on our rebooted Bandcamp page very soon, with cassettes or CD-r of the mixes as a bonus.

For Interscapes 04 we welcome patient better drivers aka @matteomanzini, the very talented London-based Italian artist behind @wantrecords, with a visual interpretation by a familiar artist to the series, the French artist @julban

Here comes the first round of Long Vehicle after the summer break. In the first hour Sevensol again convinces with his wide range of house grooves. Four to the floor, some breaky vibes, always keeping focus on looking forward.

For this next Avenue Red Podcast episode we welcome Nanni Bottura (real name Giovanni Bottura), a refined crate-digging DJ and music enthusiast from the beautiful, vibrant Italian capital city of Rome. Here Giovanni has delivered us a lengthy almost 2.5-hour journey through a diverse mixture of records from his intriguing collection.

Expect all kinds of sounds from tech-edged house and 4/4 dubby techno oddities through to razor-sharp, electrifying breaks and ravey sounds. It's a really interesting mix bursting with energy, as Giovanni showcases his supreme taste and his raw talent on the decks.

Tumbling Dice, Ep. 7: Sabrout

Winter is coming and Berlin is experiencing a second lockdown since the start of the pandemic to the beginning of the year. 

Oh what a year it could have been, looking back to February when we started into 2020 with a big bang, hosting the first of six of our showcase parties at Wilde Renate that turned out to be the first and only one for this year. 

We could fall into the depression of self-pity and only focus on what could have been, but we would not be Loser Records if we could not laugh at our failures, take a step back and enjoy the bright side of things. 

Hands-down, one of our favorite moments of 2020 was to have Mountain People on board as a headliner for our showcase party and enjoying a wild night together at the green floor of Wilde Renate. So we thought let’s refreshen our memories, focus ourselves in the positive parts of 2020 and invite The Mountain People for this month's podcast, which is their first home DJ mix in years.

The Mountain People are a Swiss DJ and producer duo consisting of Serafin and Andre Rozzo and managed to gain a cult status in the scene, mainly known for their extraordinary releases on their same name label.

Even though the high times of minimal house seem over these days, The Mountain People constantly proves that minimal house can be timeless if you carefully add the right ingredients into the mix. And the right ingredients they most certainly found since early on: Hypnotic percussions, deep and dubby grooves, rolling baselines and modulating filters and reverbs just in the right spot at the right time. Every single release on their label feels timeless in deed and comes with a 100% guarantee to keep the dance floor going, presented on a proper sound system that is capable of handling the deep end of their compositions.

So it does not come with a big surprise that they are not only excellent as producers, but as DJs as well. Their rather rare DJ sets never disappoint, hypnotizing the crowd by delivering seamless transitions and pulling it into a deep, mind alerting bubble of sound that you will not want to escape any time soon.

We feel humbled to have The Mountain People on board for or podcast series and hope to meet again in person, once the pandemic has settled.
