Lyrics

The first time you open your eyes
It could be anywhere in the world 
A peaceful forest
Or an ocean beach
A small town or village 
A quiet countryside  
A busy noisy city in a tent
A war-torn country with fire and bombs


I ask why this is
Is it just random chance 
Good luck,bad luck
Rich family or poor 
Good health, or disabled 
Some can see, but some are blind
There are those who can hear the world
To others there is just silence


Some die at birth, others in the womb
An accident can end life quickly
A sudden illness, threatens your life
Some die, yet some survive
Why is this?
Who is pulling the strings
Or is it just happening chance


Life is quite a mystery 
A dreamy and soft ride for some
Agony and pain for others
Life can be very short 
Does that mean it does not matter 
A long life can lead to journeys 
For others just mundane and boring
Does that really make much sense
Or does it really matter?

Mystery

A collection of 18 compositions from the crazy and illuminating (PIANO! ) years 2010-2017. 🙂 It will be a long autumnal story of Universe in  Rustle Leaves.. We will also cover classics such as 'Sleep Safe and Warm' - Komedy - in my version or 'Can't take my eyes Off You'. It's going to be a great autumn, because in the meantime - in addition - a mini-album combining pop and classical music is being created. I'm recording it with a brilliant guitarist from Dubai - Seif Limami. 🙂 ❤

Tomasz Kowalczyk (March 26, 1990) - composer, pianist, poet. In 2012, Tomasz graduated from the University of J.A Komeński in Leszno in the field of "Artistic education - musical art", and in 2014, the field of "Pedagogy" at the University of Humanities of Stanisław Leszczyński in Leszno. In 2018-2020, he released over 10 music albums in the field of piano, vocal and film music, which are available on streaming portals. Tomasz Kowalczyk composed songs based on  poems by Jan Lechoń and other well known Polish poets. He composes vocal music for the participants and finalists of Voice of Poland or Szansa na Sukces - popular tv music programme. Tomasz made a piano tour of England's historic towns in 2016 and gave concerts in Berlin and in Polish cities, incl. Kraków, Poznań, Leszno, Kościerzyna, Rydzyna. His works have been broadcast, among others in Rmf Classic, Radio Pryzmat, Ciche Radio or Radio Guardian. Tomasz lives in Leszno, where he teaches piano and composes piano, vocal, entertainment and film music. He also accepts composing orders. Tomasz has published 4 books on art and poetry. His works are played by musicians all over the world, incl. by Anna Sutyagina - a world-famous pianist.  Three times a composer of the week on  https://movingclassics.tv one of the biggest sites in the world about contemporary classic piano music. Guest of Teleexpress program in TVP and TVP Katowice. His pieces are played in JAZZ TV.
