Global jet-setter, Kamila Toll, drops her Feral One Records sophomore release after making waves with her previous EP, Just Another Feeling. This new EP kicks off with Forget About Your Past, a dark synth pop sound that encourages the listener to wade through dark times. Kamila’s defiant vocals instill a strength that has us hooked on the EP instantly. The darkness continues with another moody track, Arito. The Japanese meaning is to exist or be present. Sometimes this is all we can do when we are working through troubling times. By the sounds of it, Kamila Toll was working through tough times in a way we can all gain from, in the studio. As the Fall weather arrives, this is an EP that is sure to highlight what is often an introspective season.
