The music envelopes the first sounds and helps to relax even the most loaded and intense human problems. Under her pleasant conversation lead peaceful and smoke hookah, or just wait for the dream. It allows you to forget about what care are waiting for you ahead. Wrapping her in a gentle peaceful sound, it nevertheless serves as a background, elegantly complement the atmosphere of boundless relaxation. And the name of this music - Chillout

Tom Day is a solo artist residing in Millgrove, Australia and has been creating ambient and electronic music since 2005. Characterised as “effortless and raw”, Tom’s tracks couple elegant beats and piano melodies to an array of personally-collected field recordings, his style alternating between promising swells and restful plateaus.

Having grown up on a farm on the Mornington Peninsula, Tom is strongly influenced by the ocean beaches and natural openness of his hometown. Other influences include cinematic scores by Alan Silvestri, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Thomas Newman, Hildur Guðnadóttir, John Barry, Clint Mansell, Austin Wintory & John Williams, as well as modern classical and electronic artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, DjRUM, The Cinematic Orchestra, Segal, Nils Frahm & Bonobo.

The music of Tom Day has been used in independent film and documentaries from around the world, with clients including National Geographic, Volvo, New York Times, Momondo, Holden, Juice Media, GetUp and Tourism Victoria.  Having worked on an array of joint projects with other musicians and visual artists, Tom is deeply drawn to the synthesis of sound and image.

In 2018, Tom launched an ambient and drone side project under the alias sɹoɹɹᴉɯ.

I listen to music while maintaining websites and it helps keep my mind focused & engaged. (Plus it's just more fun than working in silence!)! I want to help share some of the songs and artists that help me throughout my day. :)

I'll be reposting mostly lo-fi, chill, and chillstep. Some indie and indie-folk. And maybe a few humorous things I hear along the way. ;)
