Coming from the city of Leeds, the names Hurrell, Peaky Beats and Pinder certainly need no introduction. Between the garage hours on Rinse and some of the biggest 2020 releases they've had an unquestionable impact on the scene, each on their own. With the forming of Northern Division their energy has been focused into something new, which can be heard in their SnS Members Mix and speed garage track debut on Fraise Records. And this is only the beginning. We're really excited to have had these guys curate the Bloc Mix 006, giving us some forthcoming Peaky Beats sub label goodness among others. Proper gassed to welcome our good pal and top-drawer selector, Reeshy, to deliver the first UK Hun guest mix of 2021. We first became acquainted when Reesh reached out to support our mixes around a year ago and have regularly stayed in touch ever since, so it’s a real pleasure to invite her to put together a UKG-inspired mix of her own. We’re also extremely pleased to announce that the mix was recorded in loving memory of Reeshy’s good friend, Alex T, who sadly passed away early last year. We never met Alex ourselves but he was someone we had a lot of respect and admiration for, a sentiment shared by many, so it’s an honour to put this mix out via our platform. The mix itself consists of rarities, UKG classics and a couple of more recent releases thrown in for good measure, featuring tunes from the likes of Mike Millrain, Peaky Beats & Pinder, Wookie and many more. Tom Frankel - 100% WAX | March 2021

Born and bred Londoner Tom Frankel is emerging as one of the nu breed of extra talented dance producers breaking out onto the scene. 

Over the last few years he has honed his trade by playing at legendary clubs such as The Egg, where he is a regular feature, plus many gigs at huge London clubs such as Studio 338, The Cause, Lightbox, Fabric in the UK. While also doing many seasons in Ibiza playing at Sankeys, Privilege, Viva, Zoo project, Hypercolour, and underground haven Plan Be.


Tom has played alongside industry greats such as Bushwacka!, Steve Lawler, Subb-An, Dubfire, Nina Kraviz, Julian Perez, Darius Syrossian, Bicep and Move D, but it is now that Tom himself is starting to take the limelight. 

His productions are fresh, forward thinking, and always with the dance floor in mind, creating his own unique fusion of House music where he has releases and remixes on labels such as Burnski's label Constant Sound and iO (Mulen) imprint OLDiViBES and more recently with his and Dayne Harper own imprint Council Work receiving a lot of attention, with support from Ben UFO, Call Super and Loco Dice amongst others, plus no1 chart positions on Beatport and Deejay.de for the first two releases. 

Tom has earned the admiration of his peers and rightly so, he’s a chap with a lively, transfixing personality and his sets are spirited and distinct, marrying a rich medley of current house, garage and minimal music with sounds from a bygone era. His rapid climb to success is attributable to his hard work and endearing character, which combined with his expert musical knowledge make him a serious one to watch in the future.
