Manchester-based outfit Conor & The GreensKeepers return with artist & producer Superlative for ‘Roundabouts’, set for release on 14th March 2025. With previous support coming from the likes of Don Letts & Giles Peterson, the outfit have been solidifying their position as one of the North-West’s most treasured soulful exports. Filled with intent, Conor lays down his words across a UKG inspired instrumental, giving a voice to the underrepresented and misidentified with the message of self-acceptance, growth and success. ‘Roundabouts’ glides effortlessly with lush 808s and dreamy, spacey keys, all woven together by poignant synths that ripple softly over a steady, UKG drum groove. The song is produced by Superlative with additional production brought by The GreensKeepers crew. Conor's warm, honeyed vocals float like a comforting breeze, guiding the track with grace and introspection. Superlative bringing the bouncy lyrical acrobatics he is known for. The track is an ode to self-growth, its message becoming gentler and more soothing as the minutes drift by. “The perspective I have on myself and the music I make is all ‘The Garden’ ideology, the idea of constant work to make yourself better. A better version of you for you, but also for those you love and care about.” explains Conor. 'Roundabouts' embraces the idea of accepting everything—especially the uncomfortable. He explains: "This took me to a place. - I wanted to display the fact that I’ve been in places I felt like I shouldn’t be. That you don’t fit in ‘normal’ environments properly, that you stand out. I think the only way to remove that identity burden is to understand it is both; it is and isn’t you."
