Introducing Lex Gorrie's second EP for Unknown Territory. This is an absolute monster of a release! Featuring two deep and driving original tracks, with gripping chord stabs and distored kick drums. Lex has invited two of his favourite producers of the moment on board for remix duties. Jeroen Search & Dax J did not dissapoint either, a quality all round techno release.

Etruria Beat is pleased to present the first EP of the talented duo from Modena Toms Due. Already appeared with the track "Part Of It" and more recently with the remix of Bastinov - Ellipse which has been played everywhere around the globe, today they offer two original tracks with a defined and aggressive sound plus two huge remixes from Etruria’s family.. Get ready to blow up some dance floors!

The EP opens with the remix of the label-boss Luca Agnelli, who brings a very techno track, full Robert Hood style, with a distorted kick and a Detroit chord that makes the rhythm obsessive and powerful. 

The second track is the original "Fly over", built around the melody and a solar chord hooked to a powerful 909 groove . It will be a nice breath of fresh air for the darkest consoles. 

The B1 is the track from which the EP take his name, "The Bridge", is nothing but search for the essential. Very few sounds that will make the atmosphere dark, an incredibly present kick and some 909 distorted hi-hats that ensures a breathless pace, until the last second. 

Finally, the "House" reinterpretation from the foot of Mount Vesuvius of the talent Dast,  who comes up with his version , influenced by a synth full of atmosphere but time-pressing at the same time.. Get your smiles ready, package is served!

Many Reasons are back on Amazing Records with the first of a series of exclusive EPs on the label: going deep into Techno mode, the guys here deliver two fine examples of contemporary underground music, keeping up with their more experimental and harder side. Title track Cloudy kicks off with an atmospheric intro and flows heavy on low frequencies. Its obsessively acidic and brooding synth line veers into subliminal territory thanks to its upwards spiraling and frequency shiftings crawling through the whole composition. Second cut Utopia is a long journey into a dark tunnel, with quirky percussion patterns and spooky samples that welcome an unrelenting and tough melody during the break, spanning the entire stereo panorama and slinking all over the place.

Berlin-based Irish artist Hybrasil delivers a high-grade debut album on Radio Slave’s Rekids. Since moving to Berlin Hybrasil has been an avid buyer of records at Hardwax, going to modular workshops at the cult Schneidersladen, attending Superbooth and Berlin Atonal, Panorama Bar and Berghain, whilst releasing his big, arresting techno sounds on his own eponymous label. Alongside this he’s been spending time in the studio with Radio Slave, who played Hybrasil's ‘Hathor’ in Panorama Bar which kicked off a three-month burst of creativity that led to this album. As such, the album is very much a product of the artist's time in Berlin and was written for the Panorama Bar and Berghain sound system and all who attend its dance halls.

The album takes off with the smooth rolling techno of'Hathor'; that gets you on your toes, while 'Come Back'; soon ups the ante thanks to the way Hybrasil twists and turns his synths above the rooted kick drums. 'Ceres'; then has edgy sustained chords and thunderous claps that will sound mega in a cavernous warehouse space.

'Orpeheus'; is a masterclass in economical but effective techno, with well-crafted hi hats, rolling kicks and vocal stabs all driving it forward. 'Ursa Minor'; traps the listener in unresolved loops that keep a locked groove, until 'Messier'; mixes up seriously weighty bass-drum thuds and Jeff Mills style melodic minimalism. The compelling LP completes with 'Igigi'; and 'Vela', two more astral techno rollers with celestial synths and devastating drum programming.

Hybrasil - Hathor

Belgium based Tom Hades has become as something of a tastemaker in today’s world of techno. 
With years of experience in playing shows & even more in producing he exactly knows how to stick out of the masses with his really own signature sound. 
Tom started making music with his long-time friend Marco Bailey, with whom he also had his first releases with on labels like Drumcode. Techno always was, and still is, the only kind of music Tom could express his very own vision of music with. 
Tom’s sound always has a strong emphasis on straightforward baselines and eternal catching melodies – it is made for dancing! Often Tom also brings a certain melancholy to it, which enables a really unique listening experience. The focus on a typical Hades track is also always on strong percussion elements by bringing a fresh vibe to the end product, that saturates his audience as well as his fellow producer and DJ colleagues. 
His productions obviously align well with the selections Tom makes while being behind the decks. A set of Tom always focuses on keeping the tempo and strong melodies, while adjusting a certain groove. His sets combine classic productions, which he showcases in his weekly classic Sunday picks, with more current ones. For Tom creating the atmosphere through groove & strong repetitive melodies is the main goal. 
This year will see Tom releasing his productions on international renown labels, as well as expanding his global tour schedule. Tom Hades is a steady part of today’s techno scene!
