Starting in the early 90s, producers like Ilsa Gold, Space Navigator, Clemens Neufeld, Patrick Pulsinger, 999%, Thuna Khan and many more already took the sound from the alp republic to the world, and this continued over the years with Christopher Just,  Mike Vinyl, Felipe and Nicolas Bacher, Boriqua Tribez, Eric Fischer, Dave Slide, Crazy Sonic to just come to where we are now. Great new talents conquering the World, on top of them Florian Meindl, Niereich, Sutter Cane, A-Brothers, Florian Kaltstrøm and also not to forget Patrick Kunkel and Dave Tarrida, who settled in Austria.

Hoj - All Day I Dream 2015

Back at our mammoth Stay True Scotland broadcast earlier this month, one track came real close to bringing The Caves' roof down during Nina Kraviz's powerhouse headline set. "I Wanna Go Bang" very nearly executed its titular statement – well, if the song was more about wrecking balls and less about...oh, never mind.

The vocals that stalk the track, so wholly devoid of humanity, rub up against razor-sharp claps and serious bounce in the subs. It's weighty warehouse techno of the highest order, set to devastate dark basements and big tents alike throughout the year. Simply put: Icelandic producer Bjarki has delivered a bomb.

Rhythm Convert(ed) boss Tom Hades teams up with Redhead for two slices of Techno goodness.

First up is "Set Back", which doesn't beat around the bush with it's bubbling sub bass and monolithic beat.
Things get more complex when discordant chords and metallic stabs come crashing down while the rising breakdown makes sure that nothing is left standing.

The mighty Hertz are on the remix of "Set Back" and they treat us to their trademark gritty loops and rolling percussion.
Clever edits and sharp hats steal the show on this one, as the boys show us their dark side.

"Power Plant" goes through the motions with brooding pads and a sublime atmosphere before taking a sharp turn and toughening up. Nodding firmly to the sensibilities of funky Techno, yet keeping everything bleak, the two seasoned producers effortlessly show off their expert skills.

Belgium based Tom Hades has become as something of a tastemaker in today’s world of techno. 
With years of experience in playing shows & even more in producing he exactly knows how to stick out of the masses with his really own signature sound. 
Tom started making music with his long-time friend Marco Bailey, with whom he also had his first releases with on labels like Drumcode. Techno always was, and still is, the only kind of music Tom could express his very own vision of music with. 
Tom’s sound always has a strong emphasis on straightforward baselines and eternal catching melodies – it is made for dancing! Often Tom also brings a certain melancholy to it, which enables a really unique listening experience. The focus on a typical Hades track is also always on strong percussion elements by bringing a fresh vibe to the end product, that saturates his audience as well as his fellow producer and DJ colleagues. 
His productions obviously align well with the selections Tom makes while being behind the decks. A set of Tom always focuses on keeping the tempo and strong melodies, while adjusting a certain groove. His sets combine classic productions, which he showcases in his weekly classic Sunday picks, with more current ones. For Tom creating the atmosphere through groove & strong repetitive melodies is the main goal. 
This year will see Tom releasing his productions on international renown labels, as well as expanding his global tour schedule. Tom Hades is a steady part of today’s techno scene!
