For Pan-Pot's second release on their new imprint they fall nothing short of what you would expect from the infamous duo. 

"Grey Matter" is a stormer made especially for the intense peak time strobe lights of a dark sweaty club. The pulsing stabs and swelling bass in combination with the rolling hi-hats and shakers keep the energy flowing upward. 
Don't let the word grey in the title fool you, this track is more a burning red. Just like the deep ominous vocal says, "We're burning"!

On the flip side is "Substance“ and with this one, Pan-Pot showcase their vast knowledge of what tension can do on the dance floor. From beginning to end, it teases with builds that never quite go over the edge. Constantly increasing, it creates the desire for just a little more while never giving you the satisfaction of a resolution. 

It's a concept that only masters can make work and when it does, it's nothing short of brilliant.

Tom returns to his own imprint with some new techno pounding tracks. As known from his famous podcasts in the Rhythm Converted Podcast Series, his boom boom works always very efficiently on the floors. Starting of the release with Hypnotic Pride the title does not hide what will happen: hypnotic sounds and sequences which take you on a journey full of small changing details to end up in 1 big break where the hypnosis seems to kick in even more. On the flip side Tubular is an experimental track using multiple layered bell sounds which follow a specific melody which will also follow the hypnotic feel of the complete EP. For those who don’t know, NYC-based Luca Venezia, aka Drop the Lime, aka Curses, has been a mainstay of the US avant-dance/pre-EDM scene for a dozen years – he’s also a larger-than-life figure, a kind of dandy-cum-party animal-cum-womanizer, but that’s not quite the point here. Under his Drop the Lime guise, he produced wild breakbeat music and launched the infamous Trouble & Bass, known for its raw warehouse beats and rowdy spirit. Then he created the Curses alias, which he uses to make more focused, dancefloor-minded tracks, some of which were released by our former label Institubes in the late noughties. Marble is proud to offer you his first Curses installment in four years, and it’s called "So Good". 

These two new tunes show the two opposite sides of Luca’s current musical identity. 

The title track, So Good, is a 2013 take on early nineties house, complete with sun-drenched MIDI chords, deep kick and bass and a linear yet tense and hypnotic structure. Great warm-up tool or early morning downer. 

Deep in the Night, recorded in Paris with the Marble crew is a disturbed cinematic track, coming with processed vocals, mental synths and the trademark "Ha" ballroom sound. Martial, nightly techno for the druggy hour : feel the pressure and get stronger.

Curses - Deep In The Night

Belgium based Tom Hades has become as something of a tastemaker in today’s world of techno. 
With years of experience in playing shows & even more in producing he exactly knows how to stick out of the masses with his really own signature sound. 
Tom started making music with his long-time friend Marco Bailey, with whom he also had his first releases with on labels like Drumcode. Techno always was, and still is, the only kind of music Tom could express his very own vision of music with. 
Tom’s sound always has a strong emphasis on straightforward baselines and eternal catching melodies – it is made for dancing! Often Tom also brings a certain melancholy to it, which enables a really unique listening experience. The focus on a typical Hades track is also always on strong percussion elements by bringing a fresh vibe to the end product, that saturates his audience as well as his fellow producer and DJ colleagues. 
His productions obviously align well with the selections Tom makes while being behind the decks.
