I've just come back from Japan with a renewed energy and focus on nailing down these 7 channel mixes. Here we have full use of the Kontrol F1's 4 pads to layer in samples, routing through the effects panel of the DJM. Got some great new vocals working well and some dnb basslines, which are a puzzle to work into it effectively. More experimentation needed there for sure, but the sub-bass is relentless and extremely tantalising. I think I need to strip back God is a DJ more - I don't need the full track, just the hook (nb for next time). Potentially cheesy. I can't tell. Quite happy with some of the trippy breakdowns I was able to create - I'll be very interested to see how that works live... I think some people will be confused or lack the patience to hang in there.

TomMacTom aka Sonic - originally from London, now residing in NYC and Miami.

Tom cut his teeth in London playing clubs like the iconic Ministry of Sound and KOKO, supporting the likes of Krankbrother and Orbital. Following a stint in Spain, where He was titled 'best DJ in Marrakech' whilst appearing at a DJ competition whilst on holiday in Morocco - that night he played the 5k capacity Theatro in Marrakech and was taken to play in Casablanca the following weekend.

He's now based in Miami and NYC and plays a slower, deeper, more progressive side of house and techno.
