From the vaults is this tape that I did a personal DIY run of from 1992. I was unable to find the official tape with label but I did find this dubbed copy!

Lot's of classics and a few slept on joints on here! 

All wax of course mixed live using two technics and a mixer.

Saturday afternoon raw recording of a bunch of new records... no plan, just hit record and see what happens.

Recorded through a beautiful Condesa Lucia rotary.. love the way this mixer sums and sounds, thick, warm & wide. Recorded at 96k / 24bit for extra headroom and bounced with minimal mixdown.

Music from Vakula, Ron Trent, Dego, Moodymann, Lady Alma, Karizma, Theo Parrish, Paul Johnson etc...

Tommaso is a DJ born and raised in Florence, Italy and now settled in Chicago. His parent's collection of vintage Italian 45s has grown into a wide collection of timeless global rarities. Preferring not to put a name to his style, the most he’ll say is that the music he plays can be from any country in this world. He had the pleasure of playing with DJs like Ross From Friends, DJ Boring, Black Loops, Rahaan, Ron Carroll, Gene Hunt, Ray Vazques, Lego and Mike Dunn, and he has many more in the books.

"For Volume 4 of this series, I tried to make a mix based around tunes I have fond memories of playing out at Open Soul these past couple years. Though largely rooted in Disco and Boogie, I tried to create a cohesive journey across genres, continents, and decades that exhibited some of the range of sounds I enjoy playing out when I DJ. Turn this one up loud in your car or through your speakers since this mix was made for dancing and is best heard with both body and mind. Up next in the Seshwa Mix Series: an archived live set from two of NYC's finest from the underground -- Cedar Sounds Workshop.

Cedar Sounds Workshop is comprised of legendary A1 Records tastemaker DJ Monchan and veteran of the groove producer, DJ, and label owner, Bradford James. The name is a reference to Toshi’s old hi-fi crib in Bushwick (inspired by The Loft) where late night journeys featuring underground heroes & special guests welcomed Sunday mornings & afternoons. 

This recording was from one heady ass Thursday night on the Bad Room system. Live & Directtttt from The Funky Seshwa (around 1AM-ish, it the homies Cedar Sound Workshop in the mix.
