‘False Sunset’ is the fourth single off the upcoming debut album from Scandinavian composer Infralyd. ‘False Sunset’ is a mixture of experimental electronic, neoclassical, and ambient music, which combined turns into a laid-back IDM soundscape consisting of piano, spheric pads, and a complex beat.

*upon some forensics during mixing, I discovered that I made some snapping sounds that made it into A Voice (II). Only after creating what are now known as A Voice (I) and (II) did I consciously decide to constrain myself to my voice for this project. With these tracks being the beginning of the current musical journey I am on, I ultimately decided to respect what the tracks were at the time of their inception. My plan is to create a specific number of ‘A Voice’ pieces before moving on to something else.

The River of Life is a winding and wild journey down the mountains of our humanity, back to the ocean, our source.
Sometimes there are rapids and waterfalls. Other times there are peaceful eddies and exquisite reunions with other rivers from different places. But the flow goes on to serve the continuation of life and nourish all who live and breathe on the land. This is who we are. This is the abundance of life, giving and giving, season after season.

This what we are a part of.

Featuring the powerful and beautiful vocals of Water Eye (Rebekah Raybaba), these are prayers for healing and reconciliation in our relationships. May this third and final ambient release in the River of Life trilogy serve the flowing waters of your heart and nourish all our relations, bringing all that is hurting and distant back into balance and connection with our wholeness.

May we remember our deep love for this epic journey and that we chose to come and learn, grow, be, and become.

Felix Dreiser - Retrograde

Patient Hands is the solo-project of ambient musician & songwriter Alex Stooshinoff. A Russian Doukhobor (‘spirit-wrestler’) from the Canadian Prairies, Stooshinoff relocated to Montréal in 2015, where he earned a degree in philosophy and electroacoustics. Stooshinoff self-released his debut album "Stoic" in early 2019, with Japanese outlet Note.mu calling it a "...masterpiece.” The record concerns a many year-long sickness, and the warp and weft of mystical experience that ran through it.

 

An artist who values risk as a sign of true vulnerability, Stooshinoff writes honest, at times confessional lyrics, and often appears nude in his visual output. Outside of music Stooshinoff is a professional model, and something of an aspiring historian of philosophy. He has ambitions of pursuing a PhD someday.
