A fan game I was gonna make a while back, I got most of the soundtrack done for the game.

Metal Sonic's Theme

This is a remix of Ice Cap Zone from the original Windows PC version of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. That version of the game had different music for three of the zones, so this is not a remix of the classic Ice Cap Zone that everyone knows.

2019 Update: Recent discoveries reveal that the Ice Cap Zone theme used in the PC version is actually from the original Sonic 3 prototype. Pretty neat.

I really like the music from the Sonic games and decided to remaster one of my favourites!

This was made over the course of three evenings. I listened to the original song (don't ask me how many times) and I just picked everything out by ear and then put it into Logic Pro. No loops or preset synths were used and all sound effects were created by me using a field recorder. This was a very fun small project to work on and I hope you all enjoy it!
