ALL KIND TECHNO

This track is the result of my work during the contest ran by T78 several months ago. The concept was to finish an approximately 3 minutes long arrangement started by him. This contest was running during the first COVID-19 wave so all the competitors had to imagine that a techno virus - called Virus T - creates music stronger than human beings. A laboratory conducted experiments until they find the antidote.

To be involved in this competition was a really great experience and even if I didn't win the contest I learned so many things thanks to T78 and his team. Having access to his Ableton project enabled myself to see how a professional producer and DJ works. It is priceless !

The waiting has finally come to an end. We're proud to present DJ Lion's long-awaited album 'Le Temps De L'Amour'.
The Balkan-born and now Berlin-based exceptional artist spoils us with twelve versatile and nifty tracks.
After a short intro DJ Lion sets the tone with the opening track 'Only High' that leads the way into the album, followed by 'Light Shooter' which has already caused quite some noise as the second teaser for the album after 'Reticulation'.
In the following DJ Lion raises the bar. Always Techno, but by using tons of different ingredients from acid ('Chunky Space') to a splash of steroids ('Jewroll') to a pinch of love ('Le Temps De L'Amour') he manages to keep the album diverse and always gripping.
With 'Epiphonema' and its kinky synth lines DJ Lion shows us a more freaky side of him before he perfectly finishes off the journey. DJ Lion demonstrates the capability of a techno album to tell a story from start to finish without ever losing its primary focus: to inspire and thrill the listeners

The guest mix in the second hour is by Kepp is a DJ / Producer from Sweden now based in Amsterdam. He began his music career after moving to Stockholm as a studio engineer and drummer when he was 18. He worked in pop, rock and metal and has been involved in many well known productions and international tours. He moved to Amsterdam in 2016 and learnt how to DJ. He's performed in many well known clubs, as well as radio shows and podcasts. He released his first track, a collaboration with Fire between us, in 2019

Mon.Ton vs Toma Hawk – Women – Sinister – Move. 

After building the Mon.Ton sound over this past year, we finally get to see Toma Hawk merge his two monikers and boy has he delivered. ‘Women – Sinister – Move’ is a 3-track release that sees a whole new sound. ‘Women’ is the first track that is uptempo with erratic hi-hats and an earth-shattering synth that swarms in and out slowly but surely introducing you to the track. The music then drops out to a sinister vocal reciting wedding vows over the top of a sporadic beat. The usual heavy Toma Hawk bassline is missing from this release but he more than makes up for it with twice the amount of rhythm and pace. 

‘Sinister’ is the next release on the EP which features a hard-hitting bass with military-like drum rolls. Toma Hawk starts the party with intensified claps placed over the beat to get you into the groove. ‘Sinister’ is on a constant climb of intensity with an element of controlled chaos bringing you back down to earth. Just when you think you’ve heard it all, Toma Hawk totally switches the track to a classic house piano chord section before returning back to its rampageous beat. 

Last but not least, ‘Move’ is the final tune on this release and it is gorgeously dark and heavy with a galloping beat whilst atmospheric soundwaves are gently dancing in the background. Toma Hawk truly shows of his mastered skill set as this track is intricate yet club worthy as it draws you in to get totally lost within the music. This is the final release from Toma Hawk this year and what a year it has been! With a string of sensational releases under two different monikers and an ever-growing roster of artists on his record label Lakota Music and sublabel Lakota Raw, Toma Hawk has proven once again that he is a main stay in the Techno scene.

Tommy Vecchiarelli is a musician, producer and multimedia artist from Italy. Grown in the underground rave scene, he has been member and co-founder of psychedelic trance crew Quarion Tribe for more than a decade, gaining experience as dj and event organizer in his country.
