Oh our next guest should come to no surprise. Gracing most of the local festivals this summer, none other than R.omy (@romy-van-rompuy ) is joining the Hot Series roster. After honing her craft in Bangkok, Romy has returned to Antwerp, bringing a unique blend of influences and a rich sound palette to the decks. While still hosting a monthly radioshow on Bangkok Community Radio, R.omy's profound appreciation for deep and emotive sounds shines through. Drawing inspiration from the local Belgian scene to the far reaches of Eastern Europe, she describes her sound as a fusion of deep basslines and electro breaks. A fixture in the Antwerp nightlife scene, it was only natural for Romy to cross paths with the HOTBOX crew. 

With this mix, she stays true to their sound while making it more dancefloor-ready, delivering a higher tempo yet seamlessly transitioning between her favorite genres. The mix starts with a deeper, spacey minimal sound and transitions into more bombastic and emotional electro tracks, all while maintaining the essence of her musical identity. When we asked her to feature on the series, one track instantly came to mind for her; can you guess which one it is?

New podcast is coming from a dear friend, the one and only @tiagomarques. For those who still don't know Tiago, he has been a usual name amongst the Portuguese underground scene since many years. Having released on Portuguese imprints like Bloop Recordings and Nugs On Board, he is now developing his new duo project Space Riders alongside long time friend Tiago Carvalho. Collector and vinyl digger since the dawn of time, he never disappoints when behind the booth with his deep and solid musical journeys. We are glad he could finally join the oDYcast series with a set recorded at the Beautiful Freaks party in Brussels on May 25th 2024. Enjoy !
