David Russell Lee is a British DJ, producer and Remixer Icon.

One of the first albums I ever bought on Vinyl in the 90’s was the “Can’t Get High Without You Compilation” And back then I actually thought the artist was really named Joey Negro. Not knowing then that Dave created the name using a mix of Pal Joey “Reach Up To Mars and J. Walter Negro “Shoot The Pump”. He thought at that time, the name Dave Lee was too boring against the likes of junior Vazquez, David Morales and Frankie Knuckles in the House Music Scene. 

Following the George Floyd movement in 2020 Dave Lee dropped the Joey Negro Moniker for good. 

Having such a huge Discography of music to choose from it was difficult for me to discard some amazing tracks. In the end I’ve chosen 40 tracks which mean the most and have the best memories for me, so sorry to my followers and listeners if your favourite tunes didn’t make the Final Cut.

Of course I have to say a huge thank you to Dave Lee for all his hard work, producing such incredible music for all these years. I can’t wait to hear you play live again and will look forward to all your future releases.

Skogsberg & Akdogan are a Swedish DJ and producer duo based in Stockholm/Uppsala, active in the house music scene since the early 2000s. Known for their groove-driven sound rooted in classic house, funk, disco, and uplifting piano elements, the duo has released music on respected labels including Let There Be House, House Heads, Cruise Music, Pinkstar, Pina Colada, and La Vie D’Artiste. 

Since their debut release in 2015, their sound has evolved into a warm, timeless club style that has earned repeated support from DJs such as EDX, Judge Jules, Glen Horsborough, Sebb Junior, and Earth n Days.
