Not one to stay quiet too long Rends is at it again. The sounds of 70s exploitation never sounded so grimy as Badness! Sparse rolling breaks, a tumbling bass kick, 70s ska rhythms, and dirty bass snarls, this gritty roller Badness earns its name so hard its etched into its leather wallet! Years in the making we finally see a collaboration between longtime friends and label mates, Rends and Raket! Keeping to the 70s cineplex theme, this time they tap into the sounds of grindhouse and horror! Zombies On Ya Mind is a Jungle roller with deep sub bass kicks and professionally crafted rolling Jungle break beats topped off with an ominous Zombie soundscape, complete with air horns, paranoid detectives and zombies munching on brains!!

Recording club sets is a love-hate relationship for me. As soon as I know I'm going to be recorded, my set feels 20% worse and I'm unhappy with my recording, which is why they never end up online. Thanks to @hopemossmusic and his sneaky recording skills, which I didn't know about, everything went (almost) as planned.

Anyway, after many years back in Mannheim, this is my set. 90 minutes, a good 80 tunes, I was sweating profusely behind the decks. I chose some of my current favorite rollers with @t-i, @teejdnb and @djtrex (The Mighty Ts) being my biggest infleunces at the time. Additionally i played some of my All-Time favorites, spiced up with some Classics, some 4x4 tunes and a little Jungle. Thanks again to @justmysticalfeelings for inviting me to play alongside @anncadnb and @toxxistenze
