Welcome to the first of three EP’s from the young prodigy hailing from the deepest darkest dankest corner of some probably lightness airless room nestled away in ye olde South-West England. 

Finally emerging like some untamed ungroomed yeti from said murky corner, the young whippersnapper unleashes three similarly dank and deep cuts for Tough Love: Part One in the form of the slimy yet crunchy ‘Gherkin’, the chug chug chug number that is ’Motion’ with fellow bass booter T>I, all alongside one that surely needs no more progress whatsoever, the tub-thumping ‘In Progress’ alongside Acid Lab. 

Serious pieces of music from a not so serious man, we can’t wait for you to unleash these on the unsuspecting ravers in the club. They’re going to smash down walls and beat up rigs, and this is just the beginning of the new Tough Love project from the man they call Myth!

tadpoles of terror: the croakening / dark minimal drum and bass mix

Recording club sets is a love-hate relationship for me. As soon as I know I'm going to be recorded, my set feels 20% worse and I'm unhappy with my recording, which is why they never end up online. Thanks to @hopemossmusic and his sneaky recording skills, which I didn't know about, everything went (almost) as planned.

Anyway, after many years back in Mannheim, this is my set. 90 minutes, a good 80 tunes, I was sweating profusely behind the decks. I chose some of my current favorite rollers with @t-i, @teejdnb and @djtrex (The Mighty Ts) being my biggest infleunces at the time. Additionally i played some of my All-Time favorites, spiced up with some Classics, some 4x4 tunes and a little Jungle. Thanks again to @justmysticalfeelings for inviting me to play alongside @anncadnb and @toxxistenze
