This song was written for my brother and for his then new wife when he was deployed to camp Al Ramadi in Iraq during a very dangerous part of the Iraqi conflict. The singer represents him and every young member of our military who go through similar experiences, facing certain horror of war but drawing strength and motivation and hope from the love of their lives, their families and the promise of liberation and freedom. I would love to see this sold to a major headliner. It is the spirit of America and the story that everyone can relate to.
