Soul Clap’s Charlie aka Charlie Soul Clap preps his UTM debut with an all out edit dream for Roy Davis Jr.’s elusive label.

For fans of Soul Clap and Roy Davis Jr. alike, the second release since Undaground Therapy Muzik’s relaunch will feel at home in their library. The new EP by Charlie Soul Clap comes in the form of a rhythm focused 4 track take — comprised of 2 A’s with 2 B’s that take a deeper focus on the first track on the release – Virgo’s Victory. The world has been closed for long enough, so Charlie and Roy felt it was time to refashion living rooms as dance floors and introduce something you could have a gentle afternoon or late night boogie too. The EP cements Charlie’s solo works as a clear ode to disco and classic house music.

The EP is being released on the 21st May worldwide. For everyone to enjoy. There may be a vinyl press when the record shops are open around the world again, but for now – this will be homed on all your favourite streaming sites, and of course, the UTM Bandcamp.

Charlie stands with two feet firmly planted on top of a mountain named Soul Clap and yet he points further into the sky with a look of mischievous excitement. Somewhere, deep on the horizon, the mystery of his musical journey will unfold. Charlie is devoted to following in the footsteps of those who have paved the way before him and continues to churn out thematic dance music that is routed in tradition but is eclectic, unexpected and contemporary edging into the future. As a principle songwriter for Soul Clap he has worked with artists like George Clinton, Nona Hendryx, Louie Vega, Laid Back, Amp Fiddler, Robert Owens, Sa’D “The Hourchild” Ali, XL Middleton, Midnight Magic, Lee Curtiss, Martin Buttrich, Wolf + Lamb, Nick Monaco, No Regular Play, PillowTalk, Navid Izadi and on and on.

Earthly Delights presents new deep house remixes of their classic 'Mystic' EP by Swann Decamme and Mark Howls. The new versions by Amir Telem, Mirach, and Roi Okev, revitalise the organic textures and uplifting melodies of the originals.

Swann Decamme and Mark Howls are regular collaborators, and alongside their numerous releases on Earthly Delights, they have also contributed music to other respected imprints ranging from Balance Music to Magician On Duty.

The 'Mystic' EP was released by Earthly Delights in 2000, and it remains a popular part of the record label's catalogue.

On remix duty, Amir Telem is an Earthly Delights favourite whose dreamy style of melodic house can also be heard on other imprints such as Pipe & Pochet, 3000 Grad Records, Mango Alley, and Rebirth.

Mirach is an exciting new talent who recently debut on Trndmsk with his first ever release, and he delivers a remix in the same spine-tingling style.

Roi Okev is another Earthly Delights favourite, and he completes the package with an atmospheric remix, which is in the style he has also released via other imprints such as All Day I Dream, Bar 25, and Seven Villas.

First up, Amir Telem's remix of "Pacific" keeps the sparkling melodies and gentle percussion of the original, but works in an acid line that gives it some trippy undertones. Mirach also remixes "Pacific," but instead opts to go down a percussive root, adding some Afro influences to the original's soothing pads.

Roi Okev boosts the energy of "Mystic" by adding a new bassline and moody pads, while also replacing the original's melody with one that's more intense.
