Honolulu, Hawaii, is not a place you think of when you think House Music, however, it is holding a promising Deep House DJ and Producer Matte Blac. Matte Blac born Matt Barberi does however hail from the Deep House mecca that is Leeds, UK.

Inspired by all things deep Matte started producing in the early part of 2013, since then he hasn’t looked back. His signature combination of uplifting vocals and acute, tight bass lines never disappoint. Keep you eyes peeled for more movement from this one.

After a stellar debut performance at this year’s Coachella festival and two years since their chart-climbing ‘Benediction’ release, Hot Natured unleash new material for Emerald City with the anthemic ‘Off World Lover’ remixed by Will Clarke.

‘Off World Lover’ rides the path between discerning house anthem and enduring pop classic beautifully, the subtleties of Ali Love’s vocals masterfully executed amidst Hot Natured’s trademark futuristic analogue sounds. The labour and evolution of the band is evident in its simplicity and matured approach, and the result an instant classic. 

Rising Bristolian producer Will Clarke strips back ‘Off World Lover’ and shapes it for the club circuit through buoyant beats and voluptuous breakdowns, both set for release on Emerald City, the newest label venture from Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, on 18th September.

Arguably the biggest dance music act to break out of the underground circuit, with three well-acclaimed singles under their belt, ‘Reverse Skydiving’, ‘Forward Motion’ and ‘Benediction’, Hot Natured are a four-piece consisting of previously established and accomplished music producers Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca Cazal. Since their debut album smashed the charts at the end of 2013 they have taken an eighteen month hiatus from releasing, burying themselves deep in the studio working on their follow up, set for release in 2016. 

The roots of Will Clarke’s sound stem from both his home town of Bristol, and his seasonal home in Ibiza, which have forged a style that fuses the best of Bristol’s bass elements with the upfront house music sensibilities of the white isle. His productions have appeared on labels such as Defected, Dirtybird, Southern Fried and he recently launched his own label, Cut A Rug.

Rolling Stoned is the second single from NYC duo WE R OK.  While the New York based duo navigated quarantine and two wildly different schedules, they have made sure to set aside 1 night every week to work on new tunes. "Rolling Stoned", is the groups second official single and is now set to release on August 28th. Switching things up from the more laid back vibe of their debut, WE R OK come in HOT on their latest tune, bringing a pumping, end-of-summer vibe that is equal amounts party and depression (they usually go hand in hand anyways). Created after a long night in the studio, the tune started with the hook which quickly set the tone for the rest of the song. Still riding high from the quasi-success of, "Ghosts", WE R OK are ready to kick things up a notch with, "Rolling Stoned".

While on the outside, "Rolling Stoned", sounds like a tongue in cheek party jam, underneath it is a cry for help. This song is meant in no way to glorify substance abuse, rather bring to light a topic that is often kept in the dark. Hold onto the upbeat, silly nature of the hook and the verses will instantly feel heavier and cut deeper.

Having been friends since college, Frank and Brian have now joined forces to create tunes for all of the unstable, hanging by a thread, troubled souls of the world.  Beneath the surface, WE R OK is nothing more than a new outlet for their pent up frustration, mental anguish and limitless creativity.  Two friends making music to help themselves cope... and hopefully helping others do the same.

Tommy Boy Entertainment is a legendary Hip Hop & Electronic label founded in NYC in 1981. The label is credited with launching the careers of notable Hip Hop legends Afrika Bambaataa, Coolio, Queen Latifah, House of Pain, De La Soul, and Naughty By Nature. 

In the late 80's Tommy Boy introduced EDM to mainstream audiences with releases from LFO, Coldcut, and 808 State and is credited with opening the door at Top 40 radio in America again for DJ's with the success of Bob Sinclar's "World Hold On" in 2006.

Known for fusing Electronic music with Hip Hop since its early days, Tommy Boy helped to establish Latin Freestyle and Latin Hip Hop genres with the release of multiple singles and albums from TKA, K7, and Information Society.

In 1989, the label became the first label to market its own clothing line to mainstream consumers via its Tommy Boy Gear line, partnering with brands like Stussy and Carhartt. Tommy Boy continues to license its logo to designers and retailers worldwide including Maharishi and Urban Outfitters.
