I like the use of the prompt with the blast from the past being your dream of the future.  Nice way to flip the "script" as it were.

beautiful, peaceful, dreamy.  well played man.  some very well placed unexpected THOUGHTFUL and interesting chords in here.  always love that.  when you expect a melody to do something and then a "surprise" chord tantalizes you out of the blue.  very cool choices and arranging.  only got one production related critique here and that is : more volume.  perhaps as you evolve this you can beef up the overall mix.  beautiful tune man.

Nice little musical surprise ending the verse on F and making that the first chord of the chorus progression.  I'd base production decisions on what really makes that stand out and work in each direction from there.

This week's prompt was "by night", which gave me a couple of ideas initially but this is what came most naturally. This one is a little more personal than last week's song, so I'm not as eager to demystify the meaning behind the lyrics. I had originally wanted to write a short story about a character that lived a split life by day/night, which may be a good premise for another song down the line.
