Having enjoyed an outstanding year, Alesso certainly isn’t resting on his laurels as it starts to draw to a close. Following the release of huge vocal anthems ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’ with Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder and ‘Years’ featuring Matthew Koma, the young Swede is going solo and honing his focus directly on the club with blazing new single ‘Clash’.

Having been officially unveiled by Otto Knows on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio1 show as part of the Young Stars of 2012 takeover, ‘Clash’ is set for release on Refune Records imminently.  Moving into darker than his most recent offerings, ‘Clash’ sees him returning to the heavier nature of earlier productions while continuing to push his sound into new territory. Retaining the melodic finesse and anthemic power that he is known for, big riffs and a grinding bassline drive the track forward. Living up to its title, ‘Clash’ is a dynamic call to arms for club goers. 

At just 21 years old, Alesso has quickly established himself as one of the most fresh and exciting talents of the EDM world, and with a flourishing back catalogue of club and chart hits already to his name and a reputation as a DJ that precedes him, this is clearly only the start for the supremely talented young DJ and producer. Following the success of breakthrough singles such as ‘Nillionaire’, ‘Raise Your Head’ and ‘Calling’, Alesso went straight into DJ Mag’s Top 100 in his first year running as well as being tipped by MTV as one of their EDM artists to watch for 2012. Since the turn of the year things haven’t slowed down either, recording an essential mix in March, hitting the top of the Beatport and DMC Buzz Charts and travelling across the world to play to 1000s of fans from Masquerade Motel in Miami to Coachella, EDC to Tomorrowland and Milton Keynes Bowl, where he supported Swedish House Mafia. "Bullet That Saved Me" - Remixes OUT April 29th!!

1st up and delivering a new spin to this single are the guys from Tritonal themselves, Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed, as they lay down their undeniably immense festival mix. Retaining the vast amount of emotion contained in the vocal of singer Underdown, these two productions maestros have added a new wave of melody-driven energy that provides an extra dimension and makes it perfect for hoards of partygoers to go wild to. It’s no wonder that when Tritonal dropped this at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, it absolutely exploded and had crowds on BOTH weekends of the event giving it their all on the dance floor!

Also offering up their own unique and exquisite twists on ‘Bullet That Saved Me’ are up-and-comers Sebjak, Ken Loi and Bluestone. Swedish Sebjak brings a harder and darker style than the original, with pounding bass and piercing synths conveying that same energy contained in the first cut. In the package’s third remix, US based producer Ken Loi shows off his electro sensibilities as a saw-toothed wave of crunching sound drops in following the melodic build up, before finally Ilan Bluestone wraps things up by taking the more progressive leanings from the single and adding a top end of chopped synths to create a fast-flowing new take.

With this release and the forthcoming second part of the METAMORPHIC EP series, in addition to touring their native US, there’s a huge amount in the pipeline coming from Tritonal so make sure you don’t miss out on a thing!
