Zmiana pseudonimu artystycznego łączy się z wieloma zmianami w karierze artysty. Jako Simon Mattson dołączył niedawno do prestiżowych house’owych wytwórni muzycznych – znanej na całym globie fabryki gwiazd - Defected Records oraz Blackwiz Records, w której w marcu tego roku ukaże się jego pierwszy debiutancki album! 
To niewątpliwie nowy rozdział w jego życiorysie... nowa muzyka, nowe projekty. Obecnie pracuje w studio razem z Sandy Rivera, światowej sławy legendą muzyki house. Uwagę skupiają nad wspólnym remiksem utworu: Kings Of Tomorrow – Finally, który ukaże się również nakladem Defected Records. 

Simon Mattson to artysta, którego charakteryzyje elastyczność grania i styl przesiąknięty dynamicznym, tanecznym groovem. Sam określa go jako deep-tech, ale w jego setach zdecydowanie mozna uslyszeć house‘owe rytmy.
