Wasting no time enjoying the spoils of their victory as the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll’s #1, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike return to the studio to take on Ummet Ozcan & Brennan Heart in a clash of the titans ‘Beast (All As One)’. The track is set for release on 15th November and marks the duo’s first release since winning the coveted top spot. 

Kicking off with shimmering keys, the singalong melody is ushered in with a chorus of “ladies and gentlemen”, before Dimitri & Mike’s signature big build loads up the confetti cannons. In classic fashion, the melody returns and is turned-up-to-ten, while this instant big room flavour gives us a taste of what will surely be soundtracking next season’s festival mainstages. A second refrain of the track’s conclusion gives us an audible insight to Ummet’s Ozcan’s electro and Brennan Heart’s hardstyle sensibilities, before the celebratory double-collab bows out as confidently as it began. With a number of high-profile collaborations already accrued this year in addition to ‘Instagram’, including the hit ‘Best Friends Ass’ with Paris Hilton, Belgium’s favourite brothers continue to push boundaries and utilise their network of the biggest names to innovate and provide fresh cuts with each release.  Add to the mix their involvement in the critically-acclaimed Mortal Kombat series’ latest iteration and celebrating 15 years of Tomorrowland along with 360,000 revellers, it is no surprise the boys ran away with the title of #1 DJ’s in the world after such an impressive year. 

Returning in spectacular fashion, dance music’s heavy weight champions of the world waste no time in delivering another example of why they scooped this year’s top spot. Wasting no time in following up their recent smash collaborations ‘Clap Your Hands’ with W&W and Fedde Le Grand and ‘Raver Dome’ as 3 Are Legend alongside Steve Aoki, Justin Prime & Sandro Silva, the latest team up sees the Belgian brothers unite with psytrance heavyweights Vini Vici for ‘Get In Trouble (So What)’. The coming together of these musical juggernauts is as heavy as you’d expecting, combining both duos extensive knowledge in music production and ear for a hit to great effect, utilising a standout sample that elevates the track skywards.

A fighting chant builds towards the fast paced drop and sets the tone from the start, as clever use of LFO on a synth cranks up towards the first breakdown, which introduces the iconic vocal that is sure to whip fans into a frenzy. This is carried into the main break, where the familiar guitar lead joins the vocals before switching up to accommodate a high pitched lead that continues into the beat. 

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Vini Vici have a strong history of partnership, with the latter’s premier psytrance label Alteza working under the Smash The House umbrella, and that synergy is on show with ‘Get In Trouble (So What)’, which follows on from previous heavy hitting collaborations such as ‘Untz Untz’ and ‘The House Of House’. Both acts continue to reign supreme in their respective worlds, and their latest work together once again highlights the familiarity in the studio, and the ability to fuse both sounds into an unforgettable anthem that is set to be one of the standout releases of the year. BIO:
Melodic Techno / Techno music producer from Barcelona, Spain.

Originally from Slovakia in Eastern Europe, Tommy has always had a passion for electronic music. From the age of 16 he began djing for private parties in his home country and after 3 years helping with the family business, he turned his attention to music production.

He set to work learning Logic Pro from scratch in 2016 and very quickly began to find his feet with a tech-house sound, winning a 2hr set at the Solid Festival in Slovakia.

In 2017 he moved to Barcelona and continued his efforts there releasing his first single as an independent artist and starting a weekly 2hr radio show on local radio station Barcelona City FM.

In 2018 he released 6 more tracks and reached 50k streams on various platforms including Apple Music and Spotify. He was involved in some local parties too and by the time he reached the end of the year things were really taking off.

2019 saw the release of his first album and first EP “The Dark Side of Tommy” which helped him to reach over 850k streams and land two gigs in Switzerland. He has also recently collaborated with another artist to produce remixes both of which have received great feedback. He has now found a home in the genre of Melodic Techno.

In 2020 Tommy is set to continue his rise with a second album and more music, releasing every month!
