OPV is thrilled to host the Canadian premiere of a major electronic music artist from Jujuy, Argentina. I first came across Poli Siufi when I discovered his kick-ass bootleg of Santana’s “Black Magic Woman,” which brought the house down at @liveonelgin when I played it last December. Started talking to the dude and here is the happy outcome.

Juan José Siufi (@polisiufi) was born in San Salvador de Jujuy (Argentina). His beginnings in electronic music took place in Córdoba, followed by four years of intense apprenticeship in Buenos Aires. 

Exploring new horizons, he moved to México in 2017, where he shared decks at various clubs and parties with DJs like Igor Vicente (Mobilee), Omar Labastida (Deeperfect), Guille Perez (Fest On), House Definition (A2 Level), Suly Salinas (3B), Jay Perlestein (Fest On) and others. 

Soon after, following his call, he travelled East, alternating dates between beach parties and clubs such as EL LOCO CLUB (Montuçon, France), Maya Beach Club (Koh Tao, Thailand) and Hotel Ombak Sunset (Gili T, Indonesia). The experience imprinted in him an oriental infusion which is felt in the delicate balance of his productions. 

In 2018, coming back to his native land, he founded @nirvana_producciones in Jujuy, sharing decks with Soundexile, ANTRIM, Sebastian Busto, Brigado Crew, Federico Monachesi, Ezequiel Arias, Lucas Rossi and Fabri Lopez to name a few. Nube Records, Future Avenue and 3rd Avenue have been releasing some of his productions.

This week we've invited Die.Lina to join us once again. This time she brought the talented Brother Kuma. This weeks episode is a 2 hour long live set from the brilliant techno venue "Elis Corner" in Gothenburg, Sweden.

die.lina emerged as an artist in 2019, but her fascination with electronic music took off like a sandstorm a solid 20 years ago. She’s East German with clear roots in Berlin, but has now landed in Gothenburg for good. Catch her playing at festivals and Burns in The Netherlands, France, and Sweden, at your favorite underground parties in Gothenburg, and at local classics like Café Fluß & Hello You. die.lina delivers dark melodic & driving techno sets with infectious passion. Brother Kuma
Brother Kuma is a music producer, sound designer and DJ born and raised in Gothenburg. This June, he'll release his first EP: Sessions on his own label 'Cells Interlinked'. He loves to play techno with a deep raw industrial sound.

Tom Relio vient de Pont Saint Esprit, une petite ville du sud de la France où il commence La musique à la batterie à l'âge de 10 ans.
En 1997, il se passionne pour l'art du mix et devient Dj. Au fil des années, attiré par le scratch/beat jungling, il se lance dans le Turnatblism avec lequel il fera plusieurs concours locaux et nationaux, comme le  "Match 3 Gemini Tour 2004", ou il obtient une belle 2eme place, derrière Dj Fly (double champion du monde DMC).
C'est en 2010 que Tom se consacre entièrement à la musique Electronique, Plus précisément, dans La Minimal/Techno.
En 2015, il se lance dans la composition pour regrouper toutes ses inspirations, ses styles de musique et univers différents dans un même son.
Il signe son premier EP "Bash" sous le label GNE Music en 2017, puis rejoint en 2019 le label Findike Records et la Web Radio Allemande Cosmosradio.de dans laquelle il est devient résident.
En 2021 il rejoint le label Dark Hooks Records avec 2 nouveaux EP percutants.

English :

Tom Relio comes from Pont Saint Esprit, a small town in the south of France where he started Music on drums at the age of 10.
In 1997, he became passionate about the art of mixing and became a DJ. Over the years, attracted by the scratch / beat jungling, he embarked on Turnatblism with which he will make several local and national competitions, such as the "Match 3 Gemini Tour 2004", where he obtains a nice 2nd place, behind Dj Fly (double DMC world champion).
It was in 2010 that Tom devoted himself entirely to Electronic music, more precisely, in La Minimal / Techno.
In 2015, he embarked on composition to bring together all his inspirations, styles of music and different universes in the same sound.
He signed his first EP "Bash" under the GNE Music label in 2017, then joined in 2019 the Findike Records label and the German Web Radio Cosmosradio.de in which he became a resident.
In 2021 he joined the Dark Hooks Records label with 2 powerful new EPs.
