First musical collaboration with excellent musicians: Liu Huiyuan (Erhu), Zhu Tianshuo (LiuQin), and Li Feng (Guzheng). This piece was suggested to me on RedNote by Liu Huiyuan, and it is a famous traditional piece well-known in China, though I myself was unaware of its existence until a month ago! Although the story behind the piece is a tragic love story akin to Romeo and Juliet, I wanted to arrange the song with a joyful and hopeful sense, as if it were about someone who has just begun a romantic relationship.
