Our next exclusive guest mix comes from an artist residing deep in the heart of the Midlands, United Kingdom, where post industrial decay fringes with an idyllic rural backdrop. With that in mind, it may not be too much of a surprise as to where Tomas Rubeck takes his lead on acquiring inspiration for his musical platform. 

With an ear for detailed production and a self confessed perfectionist when it comes to sound design. Listening, reveals a complex and beautifully crafted amalgam of intelligent sound architecture; harmonically rich, captivating and intricately absorbed.

Kalumet is Zoltan Vajda from Hungary - one of the old-school storytellers of the psytrance scene. Active since the mid-90s, he’s witnessed the global rise and evolution of psychedelic music firsthand. His sets are deep, twisted journeys, shaped by decades of experience and an eclectic mix of influences - from Joy Division and Kraftwerk to Spirit Zone and global folk traditions.

Starting with guitar and bass in the late ‚80s, Kalumet’s sonic path led him through punk, industrial, techno, and psytrance. Under aliases like Ork Monk and Tiger Punch, he’s performed in unforgettable venues across the globe - from catacombs and mountaintops to jungles and beaches, and on the main stages of Ozora, Boom, Voov, and more.
