PVC-resident V:SONNTAG is an excellent match for our Connwax Selected series: Almost every day she spends time on researching newer and older music, her biggest joy being just listening and diving into moods. She’s particularly fascinated by the versatility of atmospheres and emotions techno can express. On one hand, she loves „fast, playful, sexy and groovy techno, that might at times contain acid or psy elements“, making the audience sweat and have a blast. On the other hand she likes techno on the darker side, which she can lose herself in. While preparing for this podcast V:SONNTAG envisioned a particular setting, that she’s been missing dearly during the past 1 1/2 years: „During my preparations I had Trakt 1 at Institut für Zukunft in mind and felt like recreating its vibe by playing a hypnotic, forceful mix on the faster range of techno“.
