LICKY stumbled unto the Brooklyn scene back in 2000, long before it was hip to be a so-called Brooklyn band. The members of LICKY have come and gone (mostly gone), since co-founders Lips & Sacky first decided to simultaneously please and piss-off the populace and make the world more Lickable®.

On April 1st, 2013 LICKY is giving you the masterhit, Under The Gun. Self-produced and self-released on Lickable Life Records, the album f***ing rocks. With Under the Gun, the boys seems hell bent on getting the people who panned their previous releases to come to the Lickable® side.
 
Under The Gun is a shout out to Devo, Wire, Kraftwerk, Gang of Four, New Order, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, and every other band that you thought was important when you started understanding what made a band important.

The album is new-wave based with post-punk guitars and LICKY's trademark catchy hooks remain. The boys simply call it New Punk Wave.

Cassus. This quartet of perfected dynamic musical performance can neither be explained nor understood by mere mortals. Hailing from the deep woods of the north of the south of Sweden, these gentlemen of profound talent delivers the very best of what is simply known as Deathblues.

Having stuck together through thick and thin for about 4 years and counting these boys, nay, men of the musical persuasion perpetually spews forth an array of mindblowing creations more commonly known as songs.

The sounds caught on tape merely reflects the utter brilliance of these audiomasters and leaves the listener with the real experience yet to come, because on stage is where this band ought to be heard.

Cassus. Mycket mer än bara ett band. Ett naturfenomen av fantastiska proportioner, gediget sammansvetsat av endast fyra individer. Alla med varsin roll i detta samspel av musikalisk genialitet. Denna kreation föddes i en stad så infekterad av syntar och trummaskiner att blotta tanken av fysiska instrument var en synd i sig. Från norra skåne, närmare bestämt Hässleholm, reste sig denna kvartett fast besluten att skapa något ej förr hört.

Något så lätt att älska men ack så svårt att kategorisera att en ny genre föddes: Dödsblues.

Ljuden fångade på band är blott en reflektion av denna skapelse, så vill man förstå dess storhet till fullo är det endast live man kan få en smak av audiogenialitetens sanna sötma.
